I had a cut and restyle with layers and a perm, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the start, Maria was incredibly generous – despite a mistake with the booking on my part, she kindly offered to go ahead at a reduced price. I’ve never experienced that level of warmth and understanding from a hairdresser before – truly a kind-hearted professional who puts people first.
Technique-wise, Maria is absolutely exceptional. I have thin hair, but the way she cut and layered it gave it so much volume and movement, I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw the result. Her scissor work really is next-level! The perm was just as great: Maria was very attentive to exactly what kind of curls I was hoping for with the perm, and I ended up with perfect- and at the same time natural-looking curls (which stayed soft, thanks also to the high-quality products she used).
The whole way through, she was super kind — easy to talk to, very considerate, and she gave me great practical advice on how to look after my hair.
All in all, the best salon experience I’ve ever had. Skilled, generous, and genuinely kind – I feel so lucky to have found her!

Maria was exceptional in her service, skills and was so welcoming! She understood the look I wanted and also what was best for my hair. Due to my hair being on the thinner side, I normally stay away from layers to avoid it looking thinner, but she managed to cut some layers so beautifully, giving my hair volume, thickness and body - just what I asked for! She also didn't rush and took time to genuinely connect. Highly recommend - will be coming back!

I'm gonna write about my experience with this salon. I recently moved to Colchester and I needed a haircut. I found this salon in the top rated reviews in Google, had a look into the webpage and I was satisfied. I booked a "wet cut", and I paid a 10 pound deposit. Because I wasn't sure about what a wet cut is, before the appointment I went to the salon to be sure what to expect the day of the cut. The salon was empty, with no signs of customers. The hairdresser explained to me my doubts and told me the cut will cost 45 pounds. We talked about the appointment,  that I booked online and that I paid 10 pounds in advance. The day of the appointment came, I modified all my mourning to be on time, was a rainy morning, I reached the salon and it was completely closed at the time of the appointment. Straight away I called the lady and she very lazily told me she was late for 10 or 15 min I don't  remember well. She had all my data, my telephone number, my email address, and she didt care about letting me know about her delay. I was totally disappointed and ended up not having a hair cut with her. My experience was awful. She was rude and she cheated me. She took the deposit and didn't show up for her job, her responsibility. I would say her service is -10.
