BritSalons — Directory of Beauty Salons & Nail Bars

About BritSalons — The UK Directory of Beauty Salons & Nail Bars

Last updated: 30 September 2026

BritSalons indexes 16985 beauty salons and nail bars across 155 counties of the United Kingdom, so a client compares treatment menus, price ranges and public reviews in a single search. The directory maps every salon to its town and records gel manicures, acrylics, facials, waxing and lash extensions alongside the booking policy and opening hours of each establishment.

An index, not a salon

BritSalons operates as a data aggregator, not a beauty business. The platform holds no premises and books no appointments. It structures publicly available information—name, address, telephone, treatment menu, opening hours and client ratings—so a user shortlists salons before contacting them directly. Every listing links to the salon’s own booking and contact channels. This information comes from public sources, chiefly the public business profiles on Google Maps (Google Business Profile): listed salons did not supply it, and a listing does not mean the salon has any relationship with BritSalons.

What the directory covers

The index separates the two salon types by treatment menu and price band, letting clients compare like for like across a town or county.

Salon typeTypical treatmentsPrice guide
Nail barsManicures, pedicures, gel polish, acrylics, BIAB, nail artGel manicure £25–£40; acrylic full set £35–£55
Beauty salonsFacials, waxing, threading, brow & lash treatments, spray tanning, massageFacial £40–£75; lash extensions £50–£90

Each salon record documents:

  • Treatment menu and specialities
  • Price ranges by treatment
  • Opening hours, including evening and Sunday availability
  • Booking policy—walk-in or appointment-only
  • Public review volume and average rating

Why we built BritSalons

The editorial team of BritSalons built the index after finding salon information scattered across booking apps, social profiles and map pins, with no consistent way to compare price or treatment range. High-street nail bars rarely publish a full price list, and beauty salons name identical treatments differently—LVL, lash lift and eyelash perm describe the same service. The team consolidates these into one vocabulary so a client in any town compares like for like. Data is compiled from public sources and the information each salon declares, and refreshed periodically.

For salon owners

A listed salon reaches clients searching high-intent local terms—Nail salon in [TOWN], Gel manicure in [CITY], Facials near me. Owners can request corrections to the details shown on their listing, which connects their services with clients who compare treatments, prices and reviews in a single search.

Add a salon that isn’t listed yet through the salon submission form, or correct an existing record via the listing update request. Listings are not individually verified. To remove a listing, use the removal request; a removed listing is also excluded from future updates. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

Advertising and contact

Advertising options for salon groups and beauty brands are handled through advertising enquiries. For anything else, the team answers general questions at [email protected] or through the contact form.
