Myself and my beautiful friend came here today and she was treated with so much gentleness and care. She's very poorly and the young lady who gave her a pedicure was epic. Very professional service, lovely and chatty and truly genuine. I would definitely recommend this place. My Max was extremely happy with her pedicure, and hopefully, we can return for another pedicure in the future.

The salon’s response is a complete misrepresentation of the facts. The spray tan appointment was in September 2023. How anyone can claim to recall what exactly was said on the phone call booking that appointment one year later surely deserves a place in the Guinness Book of Records for memory recall. The salon’s response is blatant lying and an extremely dishonest representation of the facts.

Appalling experience. There are far better salons in Canterbury such as B Salon on Dover Street. Avoid at all costs.

I have only been to this place once before for a spray tan. Needed a pedicure and thought I’d try it out. Rang earlier this week to ask the cost and, after a long pause, the girl advise me a pedicure was around £35-38.

Came in today for my pedicure. This was my second ever visit. All fine until I got to the till. The girl said, it’s £40 and you have a charge of £15 for a missed appointment, so a total of £55. I asked what the missed appointments was and she said a manicure from September last year. I don’t have manicures and would not book one so was not prepared to pay this random fee, so she got her manager. This is when the issues started. What an unprofessional, immature and unpleasant person. Blonde woman with glasses, in her mid fifties, so you can avoid her.

The manager explained the charge and I again explained that this was not me, and was also nearly one year ago. She started pulling faces and being sarcastic. After some discussion she said, ok I’ll just charge you for your pedicure today. She said £45. I said, the girl just said it was £40, and when I phoned last week they said it was £35-38. She said, they’re wrong and that never happened. Continued pulling faces. To get away from this, I paid £45, which is a complete rip off for a very mediocre pedicure. I said very politely to her, I won’t be coming here again. To which she screeched, ‘You’re barred!’. Honestly, over £15 that was your own mistake? Times must be hard!

What was a mediocre pedicure became a very nasty experience with this highly unprofessional and unpleasant woman. I can only assume she was a playground bully at school, and this is the behaviour she has continued through her life. If you think mine is an isolated experience or I’m making this up, look at the other poor Google reviews, where this woman has turned really nasty even on her regular customers. Shocking.

Avoid this dreadful unprofessional salon at all costs. B Salon in Dover Street is excellent and I would heartily recommend customers go there instead.

Updated review. I have been a customer here for several years, in that time have experienced nothing but professionalism and kindness towards myself and everyone else in the salon. The owner cares about you and also about her team. It feels like an extended family but also one that does an amazing job. The quality of their work is outstanding. You will not regret your visit

(And the coffee and little treat on the side is also pretty good 😆)

Therapy is so friendly and welcoming - everyone is amazing. Whether it’s hair, nails or beauty, you know you’re in the best hands.
The girls are always so accommodating with fitting in appointments around work hours and school holidays and making sure Christmas appointments get booked in early. It says a lot when the whole family have been going here for years so I couldn’t recommend Therapy highly enough.

I was first a client of Therapy when I was in Canterbury as a student years ago. When I moved back to Canterbury years later I didn’t hesitate to come back as my hair is always in safe hands with them and I always trust them to do a great job! I have my hair cut and colour / balayage with Daisy which I am always happy with and get lots of compliments on. I come here to get my hair done but also to escape the stresses of everyday life. I would recommend Therapy to anyone!
