Guildford Nails&Beauty staff are very friendly and caring. I just done my treatment amd the some a fantastic job. It was my second time and definitely I am going to come back again and again. I strongly recommend them. They are all brilliant and had my treatment in relaxing atmosphere. I had a wonderful customer service.

I had done my manicure and pedicure at recently. The all members of staff are brilliant, very friendly, courteous and professional. I love their service. It was my first time but now I am going back again in the future. My friends love my manicure and they are very keen to be done with lovely staff. I strongly recommend this salon to everyone.

Do not go here. Would give 0 stars if I could. Went in for BIAB nails - cut all my natural nails completely off to give me the shortest nails. Every nail is a different length and shape. Had to keep asking her to file and shape them so they were at least all the same length and shape - until I gave up as she just couldn’t do it and the nails were getting shorter every time. Nail varnish is old and gloopy and leaves your nails full of bumps. Was sat in there for almost two hours for the worst manicure I’ve ever had. Nail varnish all round the sides of my nail. Nails bleeding from poor cuticle work. Just such a botched job and so disappointed. They should not be allowed to be open as a nail shop.
There are so many brilliant nail salons in Guildford - I only went here because they were open on Sunday and the other ones had a wait time. Absolutely not worth it and they ruin your nails. Wait and go anywhere else in Guildford.

UPDATE: In response to your reply below, please do not respond with dishonesty and lies - it really does not bode well for your morals and ethics as a business and I’m sure will make people question giving their money to your business.
You know that there was an issue - you had to take a picture of my nails as I was so unhappy and refused to pay full price - this is something I have never done but was completely shocked at the service & result. This is not a fake review - please do not spread false information when customers are reviewing your service at the standard they feel suitable.
As per your request below, I will not be calling your salon as I unfortunately have had to go elsewhere to have these fixed - they were peeling off after two days and the colour has all chipped. You unfortunately do not have the skills or products to do a BIAB manicure correctly - so I kindly will reject your offer of taking time out of my day just to speak to your staff, as I won’t be coming back for any other services.

For any customer reading this, I never leave reviews but felt so strongly about what an awful experience I had. Please try anywhere else in Guildford other than this nail salon - they are appalling.

My pregnant girlfriend went in for a nail appointment. We told the staff from the start that she was pregnant. The technician said it was fine, gave her a face mask, and started the service anyway.

She then cut the nails much shorter than requested, even though my girlfriend clearly asked for longer nails and showed a reference photo.

Partway through the appointment, another staff member came over to do the designs. When we again mentioned the pregnancy, she suddenly panicked and said that in her country it’s forbidden to do nails on pregnant women because something bad could happen to the baby. She then refused to continue, removed what had already been done, and ended the service.

This caused my girlfriend serious anxiety and distress, worrying about the safety of our baby. After leaving, we checked with doctors, medical advice online, and family members, all of whom confirmed that getting your nails done does NOT cause miscarriage or harm a pregnancy.

The lack of communication between staff is unacceptable. If you don’t offer services to pregnant clients, that should be clearly stated before starting, not halfway through. Telling expecting parents that something bad could happen to their baby is irresponsible and caused completely unnecessary stress.

Communication was also difficult due to limited English, which added to the confusion.

Overall, a very upsetting experience. Poor communication, inconsistent rules, and unnecessary fear caused to a pregnant woman. We won’t be returning.

EDIT: There were no other customers present in the shop at the time — your claim that you “found the truth from other customers” is simply false.

The nail treatment had already started. Nails were cut significantly shorter than requested, product had been applied, and the service was stopped midway by your staff after contradictory information was given about pregnancy.

My partner did not “rudely leave.” The service was ended by your staff, who removed work already done and told her something bad could happen to our baby, causing significant distress for the both of us.

After leaving, one nail was actively bleeding due to the service received including harsh filing and improper care.

We stand by our review. The issue is not whether you believe your staff acted appropriately — it is the lack of consistent policy, poor communication, and the unnecessary fear caused to a pregnant client, compounded by physical injury.

We do not wish to return to the shop. This matter will be taken further.

Would give 0 if I could… they were so rude to me when had a spray tan so it stained my toe nail but it came off after being soaked and filed but the lady shouted out in front of everyone that my nails weren’t clean and I said to her it’s my spray tan and then she said it out loud again… they didn’t have any colours I like and then I felt forced into having a horrible pink they look a mess and are messy the lady’s in there talk about you and are incredibly rude and unprofessional. They should be shut down there nails are shocking the finish is awful and you don’t shout out loud anything to do with a clients nails like that. WOULD NEVER EVER GO BACK.

Excellent experience with Sam whenever I get my eyebrows and upper lips threaded/waxed. I always get mine done with her and she is so efficient. She is also very friendly and flexible. Would 100% recommend Sam!!
