normally i love going to Katys nails but today the male nail tech seemed to be really irritated about doing my nails and pushed my hands and fingers to be in the correct position in an annoyed and forceful way, kept sighing at me when my hands werent in the correct place. And also I accidentally smudged the polish and let him know immediately afterwards in a friendly manner but he appeared quite angry and ignored what i had said and i left the salon with dried nail polish on my finger as he didnt wipe it away. Although I love how my nails turned out, the lack of care shown by this nail tech left me feeling upset and I wasnt happy about the way I was treated.

Saw Tam yesterday, and she is brilliant. Had a pedicure and manicure, normal polish and the service was fantastic with great results. Clean, spacious salon and my now go to desitnation for everything nails. Decent price too for the service received. I'll be back! Thank you!

EDITED - Have returned on other occasions, Tam was great, although had two different guys and not as good experience - noticed they don’t use fresh nail file for each customer, be aware of cross infections. . last week I attended, experience was painful, cut my skin around nails, took chunks out when shaving hard skin, made me bleed and sore - had to treat so wouldn’t get infected . Treatment hadn’t finished and they started spraying bleach cleaning products in the foot bowl. At least wait until have left the area please.

2nd EDIT - Tam, I hadnt realised you had responded on here, so when I came home to edit my review after seeing you today, it was a pure coincedence. It just so happens, becasue i saw you on the off chance that i asked for an appointement. Thank you for looking after me today, you were brilliant and great toes again. I will be back to see you very soon, Tam, and thank you for addressing my complaint from last time and making it right again. I appreciate your efforts and kindness. See you soon :-)
