Very happy with the service at Diamond Nails. I do feel that most of the recent negative comments are due to the loyal customers of the previous owners. I liked them too, but it is unfair to try and derail this business when we are not in receipt of the reasons why it was taken over. Some of the complaints are ridiculous. I did feel the last time I was there, that complaints were being made loudly to try and convince other customers not to return. I find Ann and Ken to be friendly and helpful, and my nails look as good as they did when the previous owners were there. Give them a chance and you may be pleasantly surprised.

I’ve been a Diamond Nails customer for about 7 years. I have had a few great experiences at Diamond Nails since the new owners took over a few months ago. They’re polite, friendly and professional. It’s very sad to see a few recent negative reviews, whom I suspect were posted by friends and supporters of the previous owners and are just trying to get the boot in and sabotage the new owners, which is not nice. I hope that the new owners will rise above this deliberate damaging and unkind behaviour, and I wish them every success going forward. I can definitely highly recommend Diamond Nails and will continue to be customer.

Probably the worst experience I’ve had at a nail salon. The man Absolutely wrecked my nails and then tried to blame me even when I had shown a photo so I just wanted to get out of there so I ended up getting them taken off completely, I only came in for infills. As the experience was so bad the nice lady tried to make it better by saying I didn’t have to pay but I walked away from the salon with my nails looking thin and sad.Very disappointing for what is meant to be a relaxing luxury.

I went to Diamond Nails today and was so shocked. It's usually bustling with people and has such a homely atmosphere. Not only was it dead but I wasn't greeted when I walked in, they didn't even ask if I'd booked or my name, just what I wanted. I was heartbroken to hear that Jimmy, Mia and Tina have stepped away. They were truly the heart of the business and the reason I'd been going there for the past 10 years.
My nails are fine, though I wasn't impressed that the lady doing my nails laughed and said "Eww, no" when I showed her the colour I wanted and essentially told me which one to pick. She also cut me when she was doing cuticle work and didn't even mention it, let alone apologise. I won't be going back and judging from how empty they were, a lot of local customers feel the same way. What a shame to see such a loved business decline so quickly.

Really disappointed with my experience here. The person doing my nails cut my cuticle badly that it bled a lot even after I left — and didn’t even apologize or acknowledge it. I was honestly so shocked I didn’t say anything, but I felt really uncomfortable and even considered leaving halfway through. He was rough, clearly rushing, and didn’t seem to care how painful it was. Eight hours later, it’s still sore and I’ve had to put a dressing on it.

To top it off, they only accept cash now — with no warning or mention of it on their website. Compared to other nail salons, this felt completely unprofessional and careless. definitely the worst experience I’ve ever had at any nail salon. It’s a shame because it used to be a good place, but it’s definitely gone downhill. I won’t be coming back.
