My nails are completely messed up. I had BIAB applied on my natural nails, and for some reason the nail underneath was filed as well. This obviously reduced the surface of my natural nail, so the BIAB ended up breaking. Now I have a broken nail just before going on holiday. A total waste of my time and money

I've tried a few nail bars in Ipswich now and always passed elegant nails and seen it's busy so I thought I'd give it a go and I'm so glad I did! The gentleman who did my nails is beyond talented and I love them! I will never go anywhere else again. Thank you!

My 1 🌟 review before I went back….

I was a walk in so I appreciated that they fit me in for a full set of acrylics with black gel.

The man who did my nails apart from remarking “black nails for summer?”, (err yes) made no effort to interact but spoke to the other techs in their language throughout. He had an ear piece in and was watching his phone which was on a stool next to him.

The nails are awful. There is literally no apex on most of them. They are dead flat which means they are weak. They are also not the shape I showed him a photo of.

The polish has been missed on the sides of some of the nails and my cuticles were left tatty from the electric drill and they didn’t even use cuticle oil or offer hand cream.

They are also dark blue and not black? The Polish he used was black, must have been the top coat? Pictures 1-7.

Went in and told them I wasn’t happy and Tony took off the gel Polish and topped up the acrylic so the nails had an apex. Re-polished and used a different top coat that didn’t make the nails go blue in sunlight. And used cuticle oil 🤣

So happy with the results now. Will go back and ask for Tony 🖤 (pictures 8 & 9)

A couple of days after my second visit two of my nails and a thumb started getting bubbles in. Apparently this is due to the gel polish not curing enough. I can’t get back to the shop this week, so I’m going to have to file off the gel polish and paint them myself 😔

Use this place with caution, two techs now have got my nails wrong.

I wouldn’t have even rated 1 star I used to love going here, but recently my nails keep breaking.

I went in on Friday for infills and full set of arylic on my toes when he came to doing my toes Lee started to do gels I said am I not having arylic he said I said gels I said no I said arylic so he started to do arylic half way through he decided to start having ago at me and blaming me for him running behind even tho my appointment was at 10am and he didn’t see me till 10.20am he said I called and said gel. For starters I never called I sent a message online and never called to book in my toes but I got the message up to show him but he refused to look at the message and carried on calling me a liar I felt very uncomfortable he actually made me cry because he would not let me speak or prove that I was not lieing . Iv never felt so uncomfortable in my life. Rude people.

Love my nails, been there twice now and when I get my nails done in other salons there's always something I don't like but with these I loved both sets! Going there in a couple of weeks for infills and a pedicure! Definitely recommend! Lovely service, not rude at all either!

Used to use this place regularly but the last two times I’ve not been very impressed! I pay for full gel manicure £28/£31 and it’s very basic. They don’t shape your nails very well, my tech looks bored disinterested looking at his phone the whole time, no engagement whatsoever. The place is dirty it used to be cleaner the machines are dirty, not sure how much they bother with sterilising anything. Not a pleasant experience and will be trying somewhere else in future.

Didn't want gels or acrylics, just wanted a manicure and pedicure and both were absolutely as I wanted/ needed. Kinda wish they did regular nail varnish, but I think that it would then have detracted from the great service that I received.
