I arrived early in the morning and was the first customer there. I am young and usually come with my mum, and every single visit I get the exact same thing which is a simple painted French tip on my natural nails. No acrylic and no extras. Nothing about my service has ever changed.

Because I came alone this time, the staff suddenly raised the price by three pounds for no reason at all. When I questioned it, they claimed they were charging extra for a French tip on natural nails even though that is exactly what I always get at the normal price. I have had the same design done by one of their three staff members many times and it has never cost more.

Their attitude was rude from the moment I walked in and it came across as ageist. They spoke down to me as if being young meant they could take advantage. I also watched them be dismissive toward an elderly woman, so it is clear that their attitude is not just a one off. Their customer service in general needs serious improvement.

When I refused to pay the extra three pounds for something I have never been charged for before, they told me to get out and to go somewhere else for nail services. That level of unprofessional behaviour is shocking, especially toward a loyal customer who has been coming consistently.

I left feeling disappointed and disrespected. Consistency, honesty and basic respect should be the minimum standard in any business.

Wish I could give no stars. Been coming here for many years. Had an issue with the staff many years ago despite them not listening to me and my nails were not how I wanted them, went back to see them and the manager Dan put the blame on me. What happened to the customer is right? Again paying for a service every 4 weeks you want your nails to look good. I even got my family to come to them.

The fact that they talk in their own language and you can hear from their tone and body language they are talking about you!! I have worked in retail for over 20 years. Never would I talk about a customer under my breath in my own language.

I went last week and wanted to add acrylic on top of my own natural nail. This point I got my nails done by someone else and usually the man I have was busy. I was already reluctant but went with the flow. Dan then asked me if I wanted to have my nails longer than my natural nails I said yes. The guy was going to cut my nails to add the extension on. Dan then asked me how long my nails were and he was like just add the extension on top of my nails without cutting them. Then he was doing them and the extension wasn't sticking properly with the nail glue. I did say oh if they are not sticking I will have the acrylic on my own nail to thicken them as they were thin and my nails were broke. Then Dan left early conveniently after this point. My nails take less than an hour but this time took 90 minutes!!!! People came and went.

I went home as I had long day at work got home and realised my left thumbnail was thick with acrylic. The guy had done 2 coats of acrylic I asked him to do something else but because they can't understand what your asking them just assume and do something else. I showed my family and they also agreed my nails looked different to the times I have been going them. Phoned them and said to come back next day.

Went at 10:30am and Dan was like this is why you can't have extensions on top of my natural nail. I said to him you told me to do have it done and the other guy was going to cut my nails. So again he shifted blame on me when he was the reason my nails were a mess. He filed it down a bit and he just wanted to get rid of me as again he was talking in his own language to the guy who done my nails. I walked home and said they were still not right and phoned them. I went back had to wait and he said to me my nails are curved not straight and look like toe nails thats why he had to do 2 coats of acrylic. I told them I have had my nails done since 16 and never had 2 coats done. He said this is their job as professional expert and that's why they done it. He was making me frustrated and angry pushing the blame on me. I told him again Dan told me to do it this way. He kept saying they are experts and that's why they done it because my nails are not straight lol!!! What a joke and then he was like if I redo the whole thumbnail it will look different to the other. I showed him my other hand and said how come that nail came out ok and one looks thick and said it was hurting me. I said I don't care if it looks different. He done it again and my nails match and looked the same and no pain!! He goes you have come 3 times and your so fussy!!! What the hell and this is the manager talking to me like this. The guy who done my nails ran to the back and didn't even stick up for me to say his manager was the one who caused the issue in the 1st place. I said I paid £40 for a product that I had to come back 3 times for and being a loyal customer this was my 2nd issue with them!!!

Not only have they done this with me, I remember a few months ago another lady said her nails were not matching and they are not even (same guys that done mine) Dan comes over saying they are fine and we could all see they weren't. Dan said customer always right I said yeah so we are but not in their eyes. Also the guy who done my nails got annoyed as I wanted my nails short and he must have done it 5 times before he got them right. I said for my job I need them short and I could tell he was getting annoyed at me

I always go here no issue but have to say staff is so RUDE i still go as it’s close to my house. I got my peddy done there was a women before me who sat next to me who started her peddy way before me the lady who did my feet done it so quick ! And I finished before the lady who started ages ago… She didn’t even clean my feet no cream nothing and charged me for what ! At the end I just paid the money and I rather go somewhere else RIP OFF honestly they are so RUDE !!!!!! My hand nails were so short! I asked for it not so short she just cut it they don’t care about customers service they want to make quick money even the customer is upset! Never ever going here who ever is thinking honestly do not waste your money.

I’ve been coming here for a few months and very happy with the quality of my nails. Staff are friendly but not very chatty which is perfect for me as I’m neurodivergent and live in my headphones lol.

I always have issues with my nails lifting when I’ve gone to other salons and generally need an infill after two weeks max! I’ve just had an infill after 5 weeks (my nails NEVER last this long elsewhere) because of a broken finger and not only was the lady who did my nails very gentle with said broken finger, she did a great job overall. I usually have Michael do my nails and he gets me in and out in an hour tops!

Very happy and will continue attending here even after I move out the area soon.

I’m very disappointed with this place. I always come here to do my nails every 3-4 weeks but last week I went before they closed and there was a new employee that did my nails for the first time because the one that used to do it for me I think was on holidays or was off that day. Anywayyy!! So this new employee was rude when I moved a bit saying to me” can you stop moving I wanna go home” so if you wanna go home or closed early then don’t accept my booking as simple as that. Also, I show them the picture how I wanted and instead I got this that was totally different and on top of that it was bad. The corners and everything and I paid £30 UNBELIEVABLE!!
Hope next time I won’t get this guy never again I will give another chance otherwise I rather go to another one

This is my 3rd time visiting and unfortunately will not be having my hand nails done here. Pedicure is perfect and always satisfying to have it done here but tried to give them last try to do their job properly on my hands but nails are rushed and messy at the end again. I can feel and see that the more you question them and ask them for a certain thing to be done they get annoyed which is frustrating as you pay for a specific service to be accomplished.
Staff need to pay more attention to detail.

I’ve been coming to this nail salon for years, even after moving 40 minutes away, because I trust their work and they always get my nails just how I like them. Unfortunately, today’s experience was disappointing.

The nail technician who usually does my nails was on holiday, so I was assigned to someone new. I only get gel on my natural nails, and when he asked if I wanted them trimmed, I specifically said to cut them down a little bit. Instead, he completely chopped them off. When I pointed it out, I was told it was because my nails were chipped—which wasn’t true. Another technician, who hadn’t even seen my nails beforehand, backed him up, which was frustrating.

I made it clear I wasn’t happy, but there was no regard for how I felt. The response was pretty much, “Well, you said you wanted them cut down.” Yes, I wanted them trimmed, not completely cut off. What’s the point? I could have done that myself at home! The finished nails aren’t great either—lots of errors, and they’re way too short. It took me three months to grow them long and strong, and now they’ve been cut right down to stubs.

I usually tip over £5 every time I come, but this time, I didn’t tip at all because I wasn’t happy with the service. And to make it worse, I still had to pay £25 for something I didn’t even want. When I complained, I was just told, “They’ll grow back in two weeks.” I know they’ll grow back, but that doesn’t change the fact that my nails were cut down far more than I asked for.

Overall, a really disappointing experience. I expected better from a salon I’ve been loyal to for so long. Added a pictures of before in red and French hack nails from today’s visit

Come here often but lately service is bad nails are rushed and wasn’t satisfied with them on leaving won’t be using the shop any more .
