I had my nails done here two days ago and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. The male staff member who did my nails was quite rude and did not seem interested in listening to what I actually wanted. I have been to many nail salons before and have never experienced such an attitude from staff.

He was also very rough while filing my nails, and even after two days my fingers are still hurting. Additionally, the nail extensions were not placed accurately, which made the final result look uneven.

Additionally, the pricing was not transparent. The price mentioned at the beginning was later changed to a higher amount, which felt quite unprofessional and misleading.

Overall, the service did not meet my expectations and I hope the salon improves both customer service and the quality of their work.

Absolutely appalled by the service we received today. I brought one of my clients in to have her nails done. I work as a support worker for people with disabilities, and this particular client has Down syndrome and can sometimes struggle to keep her hands completely still. When we arrived, I made the staff aware of this so they understood in advance.

From the moment the technician began, he was visibly frustrated — huffing, shaking his head, and reacting every time her hand moved slightly. He applied one coat of colour, and unfortunately my client accidentally caught her nails on the lamp, which removed some of the polish. These things happen, and two nails needed to be redone. I apologised and assisted by holding her fingers to help keep them steady.

Shortly after, my client took her other hand out of the lamp and another nail was smudged. I completely understand that working in these situations can require patience, but instead of showing any understanding, the technician abruptly told us to leave. He said “free for her” and refused to continue, speaking in a rude tone while shaking his head.

I apologised again and we stood up to leave as he had asked. However, he then demanded that she pay £5. When I asked what this was for, he said “the colour.” I explained that he had just said it would be free and that very little had actually been done aside from one coat of polish. Despite this, he continued to insist on £5, which I paid simply to remove my client from an uncomfortable situation. To make matters worse, he then practically threw the change at me and didn’t utter a word.

The technician’s behaviour was extremely rude, disrespectful, and came across as discriminatory. He showed absolutely no patience or understanding towards my client and refused service after two small mistakes. The way he spoke to both of us was unacceptable.

I understand that not everyone has training or experience working with people with disabilities, but what was needed here was basic patience and kindness. Instead, we were treated with hostility and disrespect. I am deeply disappointed and upset that my client had to experience this — and that she was still made to pay.

Disgusting service.
