Not long before it was due, the price was raised to a much higher and more expensive amount. This felt unprofessional and unfair, especially given the lack of notice. To make matters worse, my messages were then ignored, leaving me without any updates or resolution.

On top of that, my messages were no longer being responded to, leaving me without any clarity or resolution. Overall, this was a disappointing experience and not the level of service I expected.

I’ve been here a few times and honestly I’m not sure why I keep going back. The staff come across as quite passive-aggressive and not particularly welcoming. The shop itself is also very cold — it seems like the heating only gets turned on when customers arrive, so you end up sitting there freezing during the appointment.
On my most recent visit, I had my BIAB removed and replaced. While filing it down, the technician repeatedly filed right down to my natural nail, which caused painful friction burns. It got to the point where I had to pull my hand away because it hurt so much. She then decided to pull the old BIAB off rather than properly removing it, which I know can damage the natural nail underneath.
At one point I accidentally touched the lamp and was told “be careful” in quite a passive-aggressive tone. Throughout the appointment my hands were handled very roughly — my fingers were pulled around, squeezed constantly, and placed into awkward and uncomfortable positions.
Looking back, I probably should have left and gone somewhere else, but it’s quite an awkward situation to walk out of once you’ve started the appointment.
I never usually write reviews — in fact I never do — but this experience left me feeling so uncomfortable that I felt I had to say something. The entire appointment felt tense and unpleasant from start to finish, and I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. When you’re paying for a service, you at the very least expect to be treated politely and to feel comfortable, which unfortunately was not my experience at all.

I have three daughters who use this shop
They wont be using it ever again
£60+ for nails and toes for them to start peeling
Which she got on Sunday it's now Tuesday
She went back to have them fixed only to be told by staff she would have to pay again
WELL YOU'VE JUST LOST THREE CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE BEEN USING THIS SHOP SINCE IT OPENED
absolutely cheeky £60+ oh and by the way my daughter is a hairdresser with many clients who also use this shop
She will definitely be telling her customers that's for sure

best experience ever BRILLIANT nails, they cost £85 together, honestly gorgeous, only downside was the wait time and limited staff but i couldn’t be happier

Don’t bother. Boss man seems to think these are the same design. After cutting up my fingers with the file and burning me multiple times then laughing at me like it was funny, he did a bad job on the BIAB so someone else took over. He then came back to attempt the design and then filed the design off the 3 nails he did and painted it over in a different pink trying to convince me they are the same colour. He then filed them all and painted them all a different colour to what I originally asked for then added some wonky white tips to finish. He initially wanted to charge me £43 and then £38 but I refused to pay more than £30 which he got angry at because he would have to pay his boss from his own pocket. He rang his boss and he accepted £30. I was in there for around 3 hours. He should have been honest if he couldn’t do the design. Shout out to Minh though who did my white tips all nice first. He’s a legend. Don’t bother going there unless you go to Minh.

Did a shellac for me and I don’t have the best nails but they looked great. Waited an hour as they were busy but did them in half an hour. I would go back.

Would 100% recommend this salon, turned up at 6:20pm on the off chance they would fit me which they did offered refreshments while I waited and were very quick and efficient, was really made up with my nails, thank you all again!

Got my nails done, just wanted French tips with chrome, explained what I wanted and they done them wrong when I tried to explain again they didn’t understand so just told them to carry on with what they were doing. Very rough and kept hurting me, had mentioned they kept catching my skin but they continued to be rough. The French tips are all uneven and Splodgy had to ask him twice to fix it but he kept missing a piece so I just gave up.

Extremely pleased with my nails and my daughters . Hanah Lee and Sam are excellent . Very pleasant kind and set to please customers. Will always travel from Chester to this shop because they provide service excellence. Highly recommend.
