I’m so grateful to have found Elle J and El V for my wedding in October 2025. They are two of the most unbelievably talented and kind women. From my trial to the wedding day itself (including a few messages in between), nothing was ever too much trouble. They both understood exactly what I wanted, encouraged and guided me through decisions, and perfected my hair and makeup beautifully on the day.

Elle J, hair stylist extraordinaire, was the first person with me on our wedding morning and walked in to find me extremely nervous. I don’t enjoy being the centre of attention and months of build-up suddenly hit me all at once, but Elle handled it like an absolute pro. She calmly sat me down, chatting to me like a friend while styling my hair, and completely put me at ease. Before long, she felt like an extra member of the bridal party. That’s not even covering how beautifully she styled my hair, taking such care to secure my veil (it stayed perfectly in place for hours until I took it out, like magic!) and making me feel truly beautiful.

El V, who did my makeup, was equally wonderful. Having my makeup done felt genuinely relaxing, like a spa treatment! I’d never had my makeup done professionally before and was absolutely blown away by how lovely it looked both at my trial but especially on the wedding day (even my husband commented). I’m seriously considering makeup lessons, although I’m not sure I could ever reach El’s level of mastery!

Both Elle and El completely understood the mood I needed and supported it so beautifully that at one point I almost forgot what I was getting ready for because I felt so relaxed. They brought such a lovely, positive vibe to the whole morning. I can’t thank them enough and would recommend them without hesitation.

I originally booked with Elle J for my wedding hair in July, and after being completely amazed by her at my trial I just knew that I had to have her to do my makeup too. She completely understood my vision and made me feel so at ease, and I truly felt like the best version of myself on the day. In the run up to the wedding she was always on hand for any questions and brought such a sense of warmth and calm to bridal prep which set the tone of the day perfectly, and I knew I could trust her completely! I feel like it’s worth mentioning that Elle was seven months pregnant at the time, and after one of the hottest weeks of the year it’s a true credit to her professionalism and skill to be able to bring such a wonderful atmosphere to the group. Booking Elle was without a doubt one of the best decisions I made and would recommend her to anyone who asks.

THE biggest thank you to Elle J, who did my hair and make up for me and my bridal party on my wedding morning at The Old Kent Barn, and she was absolutely unreal. I honestly felt the most amazing I’ve ever felt, all down to her.
Elle is such a perfectionist, she didn’t just finish and leave, she stayed with us to do top ups and even again after my first look with my dad to make sure I was completely flawless before walking down the aisle. That meant so much and gave me such peace of mind. She also recommended products beforehand that I could use to top myself up if needed, but honestly, my make up didn’t budge all day and night!
It was like having an extra friend with us on the morning. She was calm, kind, fun, and made the whole getting ready experience so special and memorable. I cannot recommend her highly enough, if you’re looking for someone who will go above and beyond to make you feel incredible on your wedding day, Elle is the one. 💕
