I do SNS and the impact on my nails have been incredible. So much stronger than with shellac. All the team are amazing and especially Milly
Had the most shocking manicure with an elderly lady with glasses who was extremely rude and did a very very bad paint job not tot mention destroying the shape of my natural nails when I told her that it wasn’t good she was very rude and ignored me and told me to put my hands back in the dryer as if it’s complimentary. The rest of the staff couldn’t care less that I was having a terrible manicure and left with my nails destroyed and topcoat only half over the nail not what I expect. I decided to pay anyway to do the right thing but really it should’ve been free definitely will not be returning
Walked in without an appointment and was seen instantly! Clean, friendly, and professional. Even after a tiny cuticle nick, the staff were so apologetic I felt bad for them — left with great nails, a smile, and a tip. I’ll be back!
After speaking to multiple people about what happened to me, i felt it was necessary to leave this review. I had been coming to this salon as a regular client as my local, and my last visit was less than pleasant.
How they handled the situation and tried to charge me full price albeit the situation really showed me their true colours as a business.
The older lady weather through negligence or just inexperience cut my back heel. Not just a cut, but skin removed with the metal foot scraper. An area out of where you wouldnt touch the foot to clean anyway. I started feeling significant stinging throughout the pedicure and voiced that to her in which initially she did not even apologise and laughed it off whilst dunking my feet in the water. I had to instruct her to get the blue disinfectant and plaster to cover the bleeding. This also cut my foot care component short. As she progressed, i felt more stinging which made me more upset as i was going on a wedding anniversary trip in a few days. When i looked like i was on the verge of tears was only when she decided to apologise to me.
I contacted my husband who came to the salon to raise this concern and see how they would rectify it.
I had a manicure which we were happy to pay for, but were shocked when they tried to charge us full for the pedicure.
My husband, clearly upset, demanded to speak to the manager who came and offered a £10 discount. Although apologetic, the fact they couldn’t even remove the service after injuring not only a random, but someone who has been a regular client, showed their lack of empathy and business etiquette.
The principle here isn’t the money, as we paid, but hurting someone and charging is bizarre.
There is no honour in services anymore it seems, we are just money bags.
Very disappointing.
My technician did an amazing job (I'm sorry I didn't get your name, but it was the male technician) - his attention to detail was impressive and I'm so happy with the result. The rest of the ladies were very kind, definitely coming back!
Generous & amiable staff! Availed me with a small favour
My pedicure was ok but my manicure was the worst I’ve ever had in 30 years! My cuticles are still hurting even after a week. The technician went overboard with my cuticles around such an extent that one finger did not stop bleeding. She did not even remove my clear polish even after I pointed it out to her. She was ready to put another coat of clear polish afterwards. Absolutely ridiculous!
Review for vivi nail spa St John’s Wood - Duy
I recently visited vivi nail for a French pedicure, and I can’t recommend it enough! The atmosphere was relaxing, with soothing music and a clean, inviting space. Duy was amazing!
The staff was incredibly friendly and professional. My technician was meticulous, ensuring that each nail was perfectly shaped and polished. The French tips looked flawless!
What really stood out was the amazing towel treatment combined with the foot massage. The warm towels felt heavenly, and the foot massage was the perfect blend of relaxation and tension relief. It truly elevated the experience, leaving my feet feeling pampered and rejuvenated.
Overall, Nails Spa offers top-notch service and a wonderful experience. I’ll definitely be returning for another pedicure soon!
The technicians are skilled and patient, taking the time to make sure everything is perfect. The quality of the products they use is top-notch, and the entire atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable
Did manicure on Sunday, it started to break on Wednesday. Didn’t know manicures don’t last even for a week. Next time will go for shellac.
Hi Jado
As for your photo it looks like your polish is still very good considering it’s a normal colour, your nails breaking is out of our control. If you’re looking for something longer lasting then shellac is a better option for next time.
Many thanks
Love the nails
