I was treated to a birthday spa day here. It was absolutely wonderful. I found the spa both relaxing and very luxurious, friendly staff.

The concept of plant-based products is excellent, and I genuinely appreciate the quality of the products used. The spa atmosphere is also calm and relaxing, which creates a promising overall setting.

However, the technical standard of the service does not reflect the premium pricing, and the team appears to lack a strong foundation in professional nail care.

Expectation: a 5-star luxury spa manicure and pedicure.Reality: uneven nail lengths (clearly visible in the pedicure), insufficient cuticle work, and a poorly executed French polish application.

Overall, the results fall significantly below the standards expected of a luxury 5⭐ spa. The service delivered does not align with the level suggested by existing reviews.

It would be more beneficial for management to invest in additional training for the team to ensure consistency and technical proficiency, rather than relying on reviews that may not accurately reflect the current service quality.

Could the SPA also clarify which therapist performed the pink french manicure from the below review?

I don't post often, I really enjoy treating myself to a massage and a manicure (as a reward), when I'm in London for work.

And for over a year now, I've been booking in advance to make sure I get a spot, since I only stay at the hotel for two nights. I come in about once a month, sometimes twice, and I’ve never been disappointed with the service or the products. It just goes to show you shouldn’t always pay attention to certain comments, and I definitely plan to keep going there.

Thanks to you Ladies for your beautiful smiles and positive energy, it really helps me when I’m tired.

My best friend treated me to the most wonderful birthday gift — a visit to L’Atelier Green Paris nail spa in the Lanesborough hotel — and it was truly the best nail spa experience I have ever had.

Because of my work, I have visited nail spas all around the world and I’m used to high standards, as my nails always need to be immaculate.
From the moment I walked into L’Atelier Green, everything was exceptional: the beautiful and calming space, the warm welcome, and the genuine kindness of the staff.

This experience meant even more to me because I have recently been through a very difficult time. My best friend specifically chose this spa because the treatments and nail products are natural, plant-based, and chemical-free, which is exactly the type of care my oncologist recommended.

After chemotherapy, my nails had become quite damaged and fragile, and the team was incredibly attentive and gentle with them. Their care, professionalism, and sensitivity made me feel completely at ease.

During my treatment I was also treated to a wonderful back massage and a collagen under-eye treatment — such thoughtful touches, especially as my medical treatment has sometimes left me feeling, and looking, a little tired.

A very special thank you to Malale for her professionalism, kindness, and the way she looked after me. She made me feel truly special — like royalty.

I can only praise L’Atelier Green for such an exceptional experience. I will most definitely return and will happily recommend it to my friends.

I recently discovered L’Atelier Green during a visit to The Lanesborough Club & Spa in London, and it was such a beautiful experience. I first enjoyed a very relaxing massage, followed by a facial, and then my husband joined me and we finished with a manicure together.

We had the Rose Jelly Manicure, which was absolutely delightful. The therapists, Olivia and Malalay, were incredibly professional and attentive, and the whole experience felt luxurious and relaxing.

It was actually a Mother’s Day gift from my children, and it turned into one of the best days I’ve had in a long time.

Definitely the best manicure I’ve had in London. I highly recommend discovering L’Atelier Green.

I had such a lovely experience at L’Atelier Green this weekend with my daughter. We both came for a manicure and pedicure – I chose a classic French manicure while my daughter picked the beautiful blue shade Fleur de Provence.

The service was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The welcome was warm and the therapists were extremely professional and attentive. The results are simply beautiful, and five days later the polish still looks perfect.

I truly recommend this place for anyone looking for high-quality treatments and a relaxing experience. Bravo to the whole team – I will definitely be back next week!

For a hotel of The Lanesborough’s reputation and pricing, I expected spa services to be delivered at the highest standard. While the spa area itself is beautiful and relaxing, the nail treatment was extremely disappointing. The cuticle work was poorly executed and the nail application itself was a complete disaster, which is unacceptable for a service at this price point.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming; however, friendliness cannot compensate for a lack of technical skill. When clients are paying premium prices, proper training and consistent quality control are essential.

I was also surprised to see a number of very positive reviews below, as my experience did not reflect the level of quality being described. Unfortunately, this visit fell far below what one would reasonably expect from such a prestigious hotel spa.

After the appointment, I also looked at the L’ATELIER GREEN Instagram account. I have uploaded a few photos for reference so it is clear that I am not exaggerating — the nails I received appear exactly as shown in the photos, and the comparison images are taken from the official L’ATELIER GREEN Instagram account.

In hindsight, I probably should have asked for the nails to be removed immediately. However, as the staff were very friendly, I did not want to cause discomfort or embarrassment at the time.

Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing and far below the standard one would reasonably expect from a spa associated with a hotel of this reputation. I sincerely hope the management reviews the quality of the services so future guests do not have a similar experience.

*** To clarify, I had already contacted you by email about this issue, but my message went unanswered. The only response I received came after I posted my review on Google.

The manicurist was very kind, but the lack of skill was clearly noticeable. I was told she has been working at the spa for quite some time, which makes the result even more concerning and raises questions about the overall management and training.

The atmosphere in the spa is indeed very pleasant and blissful, as also reflected in other reviews. Unfortunately, the quality of the service I received was extremely disappointing. I strongly encourage the spa to invest in proper staff training and focus on improving the level of service.

I hope this feedback is received in the constructive spirit in which it is intended. I am not seeking complimentary services — my intention is simply to help other customers make informed decisions and avoid wasting their valuable time.

I had the most incredible manicure and pedicure at The Lanesborough Hotel in Knightsbridge today. From the moment I arrived, the experience felt truly luxurious and relaxing. The space is immaculate, calm, and beautifully elegant, and the staff were warm, attentive, and highly professional. Every detail was handled with care, and the treatment itself was flawless — precise, soothing, and unhurried. My nails look absolutely perfect, and I left feeling pampered and refreshed. This was easily one of the best nail experiences I’ve ever had, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. I’ll definitely be returning. Afterwards, I went for a swim, shower and hot the gym and my nails still look brand new!! Thank you to all the amazing staff 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
