Had my colour done at Harrods in 2022/2023 by Claudio and cut by Thomas, before it was renamed Dar. Absolutely beautiful results by both men. Left feeling like a new woman. Claudio advised me on what colour would suit me and left my hair in great condition. Will be back for further balayage to finish it off. Thomas then listened to exactly what I wanted and gave me an expert haircut with amazing layers and volume whilst keeping my hair length. Finished with a stunning blow dry and the end result was really very lovely. Cue admiring glances across the salon from other patrons.
It was my first time here. I wasn't expecting to have found my new hairdressers but I'll be back. Its not inexpensive but worth the results.

Chopped my hair like a Brick.

Absolutely awful experience.

I asked for a simple face-framing haircut and even showed a clear picture where the layers were meant to end at my chin. Unfortunately, that’s not what I got at all.

Instead, my hair was cut far too short—up to my cheeks—which looks nothing like what I requested. It’s so uneven and unexpected that people have actually asked if I cut it myself.

I’m extremely disappointed and honestly regret trusting them with my hair.

Absolutely horrible eyebrow lamination. Both eyebrows look so different from each other, she over threaded my one eyebrow, they look so unequal , one having a higher arch and the other one shorter in length. Not to mention that it doesn’t even look like my eyebrows are laminated. Not to mention that she was a bit rude, I told her to go in with a tweezer to prevent over threading and she told me she’s not gonna do that. For the price you’d expect way better service and quality

I’m so annoyed I will NEVER come back here nor will I recommend them to anyone

I went to buy a hair product and while I was looking at the products I approached the salon to see how they worked and one of the employees very rudely told me that I couldn't!! They sell more than a thousand shampoos I asked for a sample and another sales assistant was very rude! If you don't like your job, change it!

Thomas is an incredible advanced hair stylist! From the moment I sat in the chair, he really took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted and understand the vision I had in mind. What I appreciated most was how reassuring he was throughout the entire appointment. He explained each step of the process clearly, which made me feel really comfortable and confident in what he was doing.

On top of being highly skilled, Thomas is super friendly and easy to talk to, which made the whole experience even better. The end result was exactly what I hoped for he absolutely nailed the look I wanted. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a stylist who truly listens and delivers amazing results!

I have my hair cut with George Akkad/Elite Stylist on 12th Jan. I have been using George’s services now more than 15 years and last few years at Harrods, London. I found , George is highly professional with highest level of skills and mastery in the field, the reason didn’t change my stylist for the past 15 years. I also note George’s meticulous preparation for the hair cut and making sure the client is comfortable. Absolutely fantastic service. Also thankful to all other staff at Harrods Hair Saloon who provide amazing service, including providing a nice cup of tea and head massage.

A remarkable disappointment. I booked a blow out for my sister and I as a birthday present while she was visiting in London and I had assumed it would be reasonable to expect a certain level of quality given the price of the service and the reputation of the salon, I was incorrect. The wash service was perfectly fine but the stylist was curt and did not interact with me aside from asking if I wanted a "wavy style". They had two people blow dry my hair as I have quite a lot and they were incredibly aggressive and yanking my hair in different directions to the extent that I had to stop them to ask them to lighten up on the pulling. The stylist then pulled out a curling iron and started curling my hair in aimless, ridiculously sized sections; presumably because he didn't realize how much hair I had and wanted to get me out of his chair. I stopped and asked why I wasn't receiving a blowout which is what I paid for and requested and he simply said I was. I was desperately trying to trust the process, price, and reputation but he finished my hair and it looked dreadful. I asked another stylist if I could borrow a curling iron to fix it and they insisted another stylist fix it for me. We were there for another hour and a half only to have a much more polite but equally unskilled stylist turn me in to something akin to a poodle attending prom in 2012. Suffice to say, we were thoroughly unimpressed and had to go home before our show to fix our hair. I would strongly advise against going to Harrods Beauty Salon for hair services, I am perfectly willing to pay a high price for good quality services but that is not what they are offering.
