i’ve had an amazing experience here today not only are my nails beautiful and done with care and attention but the staff were also incredibly kind and professional when I suddenly started feeling very unwell and faint during my appointment they stayed calm and even brought me water they made sure I was okay and feeling better It meant a lot to me and i really grateful for how caring everyone was.

Bro they were so kind I whent there on the 25th of April it was so good all of my mates came with me it was accy chill Icl. Absolutely awful experience. The customer service here is shocking.

One of the workers didn’t communicate anything properly. My friend asked for shellac on her toes, and without even asking or explaining, he went ahead and applied acrylic instead. At no point did he check if she was okay with it or explain what he was doing. When she asked him to file her nails, he dismissed her, saying “I know,” but then didn’t even do it. On top of that, he was shouting and had a really aggressive attitude the entire time. When I tried to calmly explain at the end that she didn’t ask for acrylic and wasn’t aware of what he was doing, I was told to “shut up.” When confronting him he started laughing? like it’s something to funny. Completely unacceptable behaviour. He was so rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. Customers deserve basic communication and respect, and this place failed on every level. I would not recommend this salon to anyone.

I’m not usually someone who leaves reviews, but I felt like I had to this time because I’m genuinely disappointed with my experience.

From the moment I walked in, the staff came across quite rude and unwelcoming the overall attitude just felt off. On top of that, nearly every colour I asked for was finished, which was frustrating as it really limited my options.

When I finally picked a colour, I ended up not liking it, and when I mentioned this, I could clearly sense a change in their attitude. It felt like they were talking about me or getting annoyed, which made the whole experience even more uncomfortable. They should restock on there colours before getting annoyed with customers. The workers mutter under there breaths to each-other and you can sense its about you no-one is that stupid to not know that its extremely uncomfortable. If they don't enjoy there job they shouldn’t be working. Part of their job is to make customers feel welcomed. We pay for our nails they’re not done for free they ain’t bothered if customers walk out unhappy.

I left feeling unhappy with both the service and the atmosphere. No effort was put into my nails they were bent when i told him that he’s cut them bent he rudely said there not finished yet and that he’s going to file them, even after filing them they were still not straight and up-to standard. It’s a shame because I had higher expectations, but unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

I’m a regular customer of this nail salon. Came today and asked for a pedicure. The pedicure was extremely rushed and wasn’t completed properly. To start with the bubble machine wasn’t working on the pedicure chair so my feet was just sat in warm water. 5 minutes later the man came rushing to me and started frantically filing my toes and not paying attention to what he was doing. Due to Eid there as quite a few people so it seemed like he was rushing my treatment to get others done which I found really rude and not nice since I’m PAYING for a service. No foot grater was used and he sparingly put cream on with no massage whatsoever done on my feet and legs. There was people sat getting a pedicure before me and was still not done however he finished me before them. Really disappointed in this! And will potentially not be returning here again which is sad as I thought this was a good nail salon

I am writing to share my deeply upsetting experience at Nail Lounge Bradford, which I believe reflects discriminatory and unprofessional behaviour.

I have visited this salon several times and noticed a clear difference in how customers are treated. White and Asian customers appear to receive better service, while people of colour are treated dismissively. My most recent visit, however, was traumatic and unacceptable.

I took my 10-year-old daughter to the salon so she could have her nails painted for Christmas. Like many children, she was excited after seeing her friends get their nails done. I had already finished my own appointment and was waiting patiently for hers. Despite a long wait, we remained calm and understanding.

When it was finally her turn, my daughter politely showed the nail technician a picture of the simple Christmas nail design she wanted. Instead of responding professionally, the male technician began laughing at her and gesturing to another female technician, commenting on the size of her nails. Both of them laughed openly at a 10-year-old child, with no consideration for her feelings.

This was extremely humiliating and heartbreaking to witness as a mother. I explained that she is a child and did not want acrylics, just a simple festive design. Despite this, the technician continued laughing. My daughter became distressed, stood up, and started crying. We were forced to leave the salon.

This incident completely ruined what should have been a joyful Christmas experience for my daughter. She was so affected that she later refused to have her nails done anywhere else, despite my attempts to reassure her.

What makes this even more troubling is the lack of empathy shown by staff, including a technician who is herself a parent. There was no apology, no accountability, and no concern for a child’s emotional wellbeing. The behaviour was unkind, unprofessional, and felt racially motivated.

I would strongly advise people of colour to think carefully before visiting Nail Lounge Bradford. No child or customer should ever be mocked, humiliated, or made to feel inferior in a place that is meant to provide care and service.

I had my acrylic nails removed and the man who did it left my nails in a mess. They are all different shapes and lengths. Never had this problem before. I was charged £10 and now I have to sort them myself. There is no way for me to add pictures to show you how bad.
