Really disappointing! I have been using this same shop for at least 20 years the owners have come and gone but I’ve stuck with them I travel 35 mins to get there but as I’ve never had a issue before I don’t mind. The owners before this one were rose and John who I got on well with! I called in just before Christmas with a box of mince pies 🥧 for them, to be told they’d left. Being as I was embarrassed to take the mince pies away I left them for the new owners. Today I telephoned before going to check the prices hadn’t gone up too much and I was told £33 for a full set of nails and £35 for a pedicure. So I booked
I’ve just returned home and to be fair I’m quite upset and emotional
I feel that the lady who did my nails and feet was extremely rushed, she couldn’t understand what colour I wanted, and I asked for the pattern or similar to what I always have? Best I could describe.
Was trying to find a previous photo but shed already started! So I went with it! She was on her mobile phone/ headphones which I felt quite rude!
I went over for the pedicure, there was already a lady having one who’d been sat down and started at least 20 mins before me. Again she was on orbit speed on her phone again, it was then I realized the lady next to me was at the same stage as me! So I was up and finished easy before her!
I appreciate they all work at different speeds but when I go (which isn’t regular) I like to see it as a relaxing treat!
Ok I thought short n sweet but then when I came to pay, it was £76 altogether! I was expecting £68! When I questioned the amount I was told it was because I’d had a pattern!
In the last 20 years I have NEVER been charged for this ever!
I paid, as I came out of the shop I thought no that’s not right so I returned straight away and complained the lady said I’d had an extra pattern! So it was an extra £8! And showed me the price list!
So that’s made my mind up! I’m really hurt because I’ve used this shop for so long! And have consistently stuck with them.I know I’m not a regular customer but consistent.
I won’t be returning, the service wasn’t there, the nails arnt what I wanted, the whole experience was rushed, but they weren’t busy! And I paid well over there usual charge.

If you wish to continue, my advice is to change your attitude and service, there are shops like this everywhere.
So disappointed if any regular customers of previous years read this review then I’d tell you to find a new shop as I will have to!

Was my 1st time visiting here today and to be honest I was not particularly happy with my nails. The service wasn't too bad. I was in and out.. but my nails are terrible. Sorry but i wouldnt return

At the start the service was very well as the people were friendly. Whilst get my nails done I asked for a BIAB I asked the person if he could do my treatment as I understood that I had short nails he was happy to continue for £35. It was painful experience as I was hurt and bleeding on 3 nails. After treatment I informed the technician and explained that the price was not fair for the service. I was told “do you expect to get a discount at McDonalds” I was taken back by this comment and explained if the food came back then I would be speaking to management as on 3 occasions I haven’t hurt on my nails. After this the gentleman changed the price from £35 to £32 but I do not believe I should have paid as my nails are in pain and I was not happy with the experience at the end. I would’ve happily paid the full £35 but would anyone pay when they have blood coming out of 3 nails. Images have been attached. Please people keep safe.

Very poor customer service - the male manicurist ripped my nail when he removed my acrylics and didn’t offer me any discount. I booked via Booksy and was told when I arrived that they didn’t use it anymore - remove your account then. The staff also smoke right in the doorway of the salon and frequently go off during your appointment and even took a phone call during my manicure. Unimpressed isn’t the word.
