I asked for a thin white tip with a pink base, exactly like the set I came in with from another salon, and what I left with was nothing like it.

They only offered a clear acrylic base with a few very light, see-through pink gel options, none of which were suitable. The white tips weren’t even painted on properly — white polish was applied and then wiped into shape using acetone and a brush, which left visible brush marks and smudging into the base colour.

The tips are uneven across all nails, with some thicker than others and inconsistent in style. One nail is completely misshapen, and there was even a small hair trapped in one of the nails.

Because of the clear acrylic and gel layered on top, the nails look thick and untidy rather than clean and refined.

I paid £48 for a soak off and a fresh set, which was absolutely not worth the money. As they are cash only, there is no way to dispute the payment or prove purchase. I contacted them afterwards with photos, and they refused a refund. They told me they could be “fixed” however I wouldn’t feel confident returning for this as they don’t offer a pink acrylic base and the same method would be used again to create the tips (with acetone and a brush), I don’t see how the result would be any different and they should have done them to a good standard to begin with.

I’ve now had to pay again to have them removed and redone elsewhere to a proper standard. Very disappointing experience I am £93 down!!

Very efficient booking system. I got an appointment for the next day and it was really great to have the manicure in half an hour to get to my next appointment. Lots of colours for the polish to choose from. Very polite and calm and good value for money.
I will definitely go there again. Thank you.

Disappointed with hidden charges. I was shocked to be charged £5 just to remove clear polish, which wasn't mentioned upfront. The service was otherwise fine, but the unexpected cost left a sour taste. Be sure to ask about all potential charges before booking!

This will be my last visit to Jenny’s salon.

Requested builder gel and the electric file was used on my nails (!!!) further weakening them … despite me asking my tech to stop.

There was debris in one of my nails once finished (black dust) so I request it be removed and re done before I left.

Cuticles were ripped off and part of one cuticle was bleeding, leaving me with a lovely looking scab (and stinging whilst my nails were being cured).

My first nail chipped and started peeling 2 days after application, the rest following suite whilst on holiday.

Maybe jenny herself know what she’s doing, but her staff need more training - and she should be accountable for them. My tech was perfectly lovely but really didn’t know what she was doing.

Sorry Jenny, will be recommending people avoid your place as it’s not the first time I’ve had a shoddy mani from here.

First impressions were nice it was lovely getting my nails done and having a nice time and I got a nails done. I was very impressed but it felt a bit weird when there were only two members of staff working and there are four people so the ladies had to swap between each other, and it felt quite rushed, but I got them done on Monday around four and out and I am very disappointed with in six days. One of the nails have cracked by me putting my hair up so I’m very disappointed. I thought it was definitely a bit pricey they didn’t very good job also I thought they did try, but the only reason I’m saying a good job is I thought they were being quite rude so I’m not very happy that I’m in Elsie snapped so I will want a refund of £45 because I’m not happy so you can come here, but I will definitely not be coming again. Sorry but definitely not coming again Xx
