the best nails in hampshire! i've had nail art, 3d nail art, biab and extensions here over the last 2 years, i now travel in for them and wouldn't think of going anywhere else!

be nice to the staff and they will be nice to you! sometimes a wait but worth it, best to contact on instagram DM w pictures and ALWAYS have the exact picture of what you want with you kept on table for easy to copy.

nails last 4 weeks plus!! reasonable cost and the staff are so friendly. defo bring cash, easier than other payments ❤️

This company is poor on customer service and in general, very rude to any criticism and act like children in response. Not sure why people come to them. Their quality is crap and not worth any money. Can’t wait for your unintelligent response

I have been into zen nails a handful of times and while their nails are satisfactory, their customer service is far below.

Whenever I go into zen I find that there is resistance when l voice something I want to change about MY nails; for example I wanted to change my base colour and I was told did I not look at the other colours before she applied it. I simply just didn't like how they looked at that moment in time and wanted to change the nails I am paying for.

Furthermore, prior to my visit at Zen I texted their instagram to get a price. I asked how much plain french tips were, to which they replied £25. They then followed up and asked if this was acrylic or gel and I told them acrylic, they then did NOT correct me on the price prior to my appointment therefore I was expecting to pay £25. Halfway through getting my nails done the lady mentioned it was now £40??? I was very confused but the nails were mostly done so she continued. At the payment I voiced that I was told £25 to which they pointed at the board and refused to honour their representation that my nails would be £25. On top of this, £40 for PLAIN french tip is ABSURD.

The customer service, vibe and attitude towards customers makes going to this nail salon a terrible experience. And the price for plain french tips is shocking. I will not be visiting here again and I advise against anyone else going here either.

Lastly I have read through other reviews and seen their unprofessional replies which speaks volumes for their company. So I am expecting a childish reply. Just do better Zen.

Today I visited The Zen Nails in Portswood in Southampton I've been there a few times now and they never disappoint but Today they went beyond amazing so so happy with my Halloween themed nails. Thank you so much guys wicked as usual

I’ve been coming here for a while and honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else! The staff are so lovely and professional, and my nails always look perfect — the shape, colour, and finish are flawless every time. The salon is spotless and has such a relaxing atmosphere. I do wish they still offered a student or NHS (Blue Light) discount, but even without it, the service and quality are always worth it! 💅💕

I went in today for the first time as there was no price list on the wall
I Then I asked for the price for infills and pedicure together
The manager then told me £55 pound
For both she confirmed it’s for both then I go to pay and I’m asked to pay £85 and then when i politely asked she started shouting at me
In front of the others I felt very uncomfortable and intimidated
I must add THIS LADY is NOT the normal lady as the normal staff are all on holiday with this way of communication I believe no person would like to get their nails in there as I didn’t mind to pay the price I just didn’t expect to be shouted at in front of everyone.

I had my nails done at this salon yesterday, but unfortunately, less than 24 hours later, the chrome started peeling off (as shown in the photo). The quality of the materials was disappointing, and to make matters worse, one of the female staff members had a rather harsh attitude. I hope the salon will improve both the quality of their products and the way they treat their customers in the future.(Dear Zen Nails & Beauty,

I was surprised and disappointed by your response. Google Reviews exists so that every customer — whether local or visiting — can share their honest experience. It is not acceptable to call someone a “bad person” simply because they left a review.

I was a visitor in Southampton and live in London. I had no intention to damage your reputation — I simply shared my genuine experience. Unfortunately, the manicure did not last even 24 hours, which I documented with photos.

Respectful feedback — even if negative — is a right, not an attack. I hope future responses to customers are more professional.
