Lovely friendly hardworking people , nothing is to much trouble for them.

I always have nail art on my acrylic nails and they never fail to impress me with the end results.

Sometimes there is a little bit of a wait but this is expected as there is only two people, they work hard and long hours despite having a family at home.

Really deserve a visit.

Only downside is parking but it’s near bus routes, walking and a train station.

Made an appointment- waste of time as you just sit and wait with the walk in people. Gave up and left after 20mins as the customers having their nails done were going to be another 20mins.

I had my nails done in gel with a simple polkadot design on them. They are patchy, uneven around my cuticles, and the dots are completely different sizes and shapes across every nail. Possibly the worst nail results I’ve had. They are unrecognisable from my reference picture.

The staff seemed friendly, however my nail results are just disappointing. For a gel set, I was charged £23 and then an additional £7 for uneven, differently sized polkadots. Even without the design, the gel looks messy, and not professional.

Such a good nail salon! I wanted to find a good place to get my nails done since coming to Southampton and this was definitely the right choice. I rang on Tuesday afternoon and nobody picked up but they called me back Wednesday and got me an appointment on the same day. I got a full set of acrylics with a design and gel polish and it cost me £40 with a student discount of 10%. The lady doing my nails was so so gentle and only took 40 minutes to finish doing my nails and they turned out exactly like my inspiration picture (the green nails). Highly recommend!!

I’ve gone here a couple of times to get my nails done. I usually had gel nail polish. The nails didn’t really last long, at one point the nail polish chipped off after a week of having them done. I do think if you are young they are more likely to take advantage of you. I have had a bad experience here when they overcharged me (charged my French tip prices when I got one solid colour) and it was really upsetting.

2 stars because the owners seemed lovely, otherwise everything seemed very rushed, all of my nails are very uneven and different lengths, lifting from the top where the gel was on my skin, i left the place disappointed

I had an appointment today, but they clearly didn’t care. I waited 40 minutes with no explanation or apology. What’s the point of booking an appointment if it’s completely ignored? I ended up leaving. Very unprofessional.

Not me but my partner Emma couldn't recommend them enough. Daisy is really good, the place is really clean and everyone is very friendly and welcoming. Her husband Van also works here and you can definitely feel the family environment.

The BEST nail salon experience we’ve ever had!
My friend and I came to VN Nails for a set of acrylics, and we’re absolutely obsessed with the results. The staff were so friendly and welcoming—it instantly felt like a relaxing little escape. The space is clean, calming, and beautifully set up.

They took their time with our nails, made sure we got exactly what we wanted, and even gave us great tips for aftercare to keep them looking fresh. We’ve been to other salons before, but this one truly stands out. Can’t recommend VN Nails enough—we’ll definitely be back! 💅✨
