do not recommend for babies first hair cuts. Went in for my 15 month olds first hair cut came out with a very wonky trim and had the luxury of paying £20 for it. There is one side longer than the other and chunks missing. I Requested a lock of hair as a keep sake and got given the teeny snippings from the tips. The guy Michael (who is the owner) was friendly and polite, was good with my son but a little condescending when it came to not doing what we wanted for the hair cut. I’m really upset with the experience of the first hair cut as a mother it may be irrational to some but the outcome considering my baby sat well didn’t cry or grab at the scissors or comb he looks silly.

UPDATE Tuesday 19th
Received a phone call from the salon to speak to me about my review. Michael (the owner) told me ‘you don’t understand how much a 1star review hurts my business’ not once was the offer made to correct the hair cut even after agreeing with me that the hair cut was bad. Hope not one else has this experience.

My two daughters had haircuts today. We were very pleased with the haircuts and the service. We were even approached in Tesco by people that said how beautiful their hair looked.

So disappointed today, had an appointment booked since 17 April for 16 May, a month in advance. Received a call today - they have to cancel it as noone available to do it!
Deposit was paid.
Why did it let me book this slot if not available?
I booked specifically this day and hairdresser due to juggling 3 kids and a full time job in the week, trying to find time for myself and a babysitter I had already booked.
Also the fact I booked this hairdresser as she has always been amazing and pleased with the results.
On my visit in December I had someone different due to availability and was really disappointed with the result, it looked not much different in colour! I didnt mention it as they were all going out for their xmas night out that evening and clearly wanted to get out and Im actually a nice person didnt want to ruin their fun.
Now wish I had as as money wasted and now the cancelled appointment, before I have plans and was desperate for a haircut. Not sure ive ever written a poor review online but am upset and hope it doesnt happen regularly to others.

Last Saturday had a haircut & blow dry with the boss, Michael. He was attentive and asked me what I would like to have done. I showed him a pic of Olivia Attwood haircut and Michael said: " I promise I won't go wild."
Left the salon in a timely fashion and headed straight after to M&S in town.
All eyes on me.
A lady working near the fitting room readily approached me and said: " Oh, I couldn't help it but to comment, your hair is glorious. You must have people telling you all the time. " Shortly after, had some men gazing at me, some single, some married, some younger, some older
Thanks Michael. I guess your magic hands put a spell on the whole of Yeovil.
I'll be back in the near future. xx

Lovely bright open welcoming salon. Maggie was a great find who took the time on my first visit to ask me questions about what I liked/disliked about my current hairstyle and where to go from there. Absolutely delighted with the result. Left feeling uplifted and looking younger - always a bonus!!

I had my hair done here for the first time since being a teenager due to high levels of anxiety of going to a salon environment. My experience was so lovely, everyone was super nice and nick that did my hair was amazing. Such attention to detail and was really friendly. I left feeling amazing, I also have started getting my nails done here aswell and the girls in the beauty bar are equally as lovely. Just overall a great salon with great people ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had a lash lift and tint (9/3/25) at 9.30am. unfortunately I didn't get the therapists name, but she was young, blonde and very pretty.
I just wanted to say, thank you. You did an amazing job and I felt so relaxed I very nearly fell a sleep. Results are amazing too!

New Tesco employee in the area, thought I’d give them a try and they were brilliant. Michelle who did my hair yesterday was great and it was good customer service with a nice chat during the trim, and it’s the best my hair I’ve had in a long while. I look forward to going back soon 😊

I booked specifically to have my very short hair cut by Steve. Again I wasn't disappointed with the cut. He does a besutiful cut and always makes me look great. I never go anywhere else and recommend him to my friends.
