If you are reading this review before booking, then proceed with caution if you are considering making a booking, for the less than impressive reviews are not without reason.
Moody staff, double, sometimes triple booking of the same appointment time means you either have no option but to wait or leave. I waited the first time believing it was a genuine mix up (it wasn’t!) and then endured a very begrudging manicure as they prefer the more costly procedures.
Returned once more to the same treatment. Should have left straight away as my nails are now weakened by having had the nail filed as if I was having gels instead of a straight forward manicure. Total disrespect for clients when it should feel a really enjoyable experience. I won’t m be returning.

Service with a snarl! They don't deserve the 1 star I had to put in for this review. Okay 1 star for being open and giving me an appointment, (wish they hadn't)! Extremely miserable staff, overpriced and honestly I could have done a better job at home. Wish I had! They raise the price to what they quoted. Double booked me so that I had to wait 25 minutes before starting. High price for poor quality. Very thin top coat so that glitter varnish feels through, like barely any top coat at all. Nails cut too short. Rough manicure. Customer care zilch! They seemed really put out. The salon was cold, the pedicure was cold, nail dryer cold until I complained my hands were freezing, water lukewarm, service cold and attitude luke ...cold! Really stressful and uncomfortable. Won't ever go back! Next time will book with Akina down the road who my mother recommends , who know how to treat their customers and do a good job for similar price but far more professional and customer wellbeing is their ethos. Go back to school Helen's Nails!

My mum come out of Helen’s Nails pretty much in tears from the way the staff treated her, they were extremely rude. She had a pedicure and when she requested a manicure they seemed very frustrated, as though they didn’t want to do it.

Went to have my nails done here yesterday. While my nails look lovely, the lady doing them was quite brutal. She cut me with a normal nail file and then again with the drill. She then proceeded to moan at me constantly because I wasn't very relaxed, hard to be relaxed when you've been cut twice.

Terrible service, I booked an appointment for 1 and when I got there everyone was busy. They then tried to squeeze me in around people and said a gel infill on my toes would take longer than half an hour? I’ve had a whole pedicure and gel removal in half an hour so don’t really understand why. They then tried to pass me around from person to person for something so simple and there were other girls waiting with half nails done. Would never recommend this place or go again.

DO NOT GO HERE! Cut my friends toenails extremely short and wonky, she returned the next day to complain and they filed them down even more to even them out. This has now caused her to have an ingrown toenail. When raising this with the salon they asked her to come to the shop in person to sort it out. While at the salon she was greeted with extremely rude and ignorant attitudes. They refused a refund, didn’t even apologise or a knowledge what they had done. If I could rate 0 stars I would. Avoid at all costs…

I’m honestly disgusted the shop was empty the whole time I was in there but yet the woman was rushing my nails so much she hurt me on many occasions. All my nails are differently lengths and these are for a wedding! The woman was exstremely rude to me when I questioned the different lengths I’m honestly so disappointed!!!

I have been going here since my children were small lovely friendly place and valve for money
