Since moving to Rochester six years ago, Jayne has been my beautician and Jo my hairdresser. They are both professional and talented ladies, and I highly recommend them both.

I also find Topps2Toe to be very friendly and stylish. Whether for hair, manicure or other beauty treatment, it's always a pleasure to visit the salon.

Had the most fabulous appointment with Tara today.
After years of having the same colour on my hair, I wanted to embrace the ‘ash tones’ and move away from having my hair bleached. We discussed what I would like, what would work best with my natural hair colour, and decided to go with grey blending.
After months of toying with the idea of a big change, I’m so glad that I chose Tara, she has done the most amazing job with my hair!!

I booked a blow dry and beach waves 2 weeks prior, as a new client with Matty, for the day before I was to go on holiday! A few days before the appointment it was declined!? I’ve never ever heard of any salon or hairdresser “declining” and was really upset as I had been let down at the last minute and wondered what I’d done wrong! Two voicemails were left for both Matty and Topps main line with no one bothering to get back to me. I eventually text Tara who said they had been busy and Matty would get back to me. He did via insta saying he wouldn’t have time to colour my hair ?? When I explained I had booked in for a blow dry and beach waves and as a new client I wanted to try out a new hairdresser first with a b/d and that I would be going forward having my hair coloured in the future as I had had my hair ruined two years ago and it had taken me that time to grow it back long again to be able to trust a new hairdresser again. There was no apology! Only that he would try and get someone else to do it. I explained I had booked especially for him and no response!!

I have modelled as a hair model for years at top salons in London starting with Sasoons then doing various magazine work up right up until 6 years ago for top salons in Chelsea where I used to live. So some 40 years!! Unfortunately when I moved to Sussex my hair was ruined. I have never ever been treated so appallingly especially by a little local hairdressers!!

Glad to see a local salon is so busy it can pick and choose who they want as a client but obviously decline at the last minute new clients if someone wants a colour which is obviously more money. Totally shocking and shouldn’t be in business!! Shame on you!

I am really pleased with my hair color treatment! The stylist listened carefully to what I wanted and did a wonderful job. The color looks natural and my hair still feels healthy.
Friendly and comfortable environment.

I honestly cannot recommend Jo at Topps 2 Toe enough.

I have been seeing Jo for around 12 years now, after she completely saved my hair from an absolute disaster of over-bleaching, over-colouring, and some truly awful haircuts. From day one, she worked her magic and transformed my hair from drab, dull, and damaged into something shiny, sleek, healthy, and full of life.

Year after year, she continues to amaze me with her skill, attention to detail, and genuine care for my hair. I regularly get compliments on how healthy and beautiful it looks, and that is 100% down to Jo.

Over the years, she has also become a very close friend, which makes every appointment something I genuinely look forward to. Her warmth, honesty, and professionalism are second to none.

I have even moved hairdressers to follow her, and that says it all. I honestly could not be without her.

Had my hair cut, coloured and pinned up by Jo at her new location, Topps 2 Toe. Fabulous as ever and I felt at home in the salon. The updo stayed in place for the event, still looked good after sleeping on it and even survived bootcamp the next day (with added grass).

I had my hair restyled by Gayle, who changed my look from long hair to classic bob. She did a brilliant job - my hair feels healthy and it is so easy to manage. She advised me on how to care for it, kept me hydrated, and did not charge me a King’s ransom. Thank you Gayle for your expertise and that you to Topps for having air conditioning so that we kept cool in the heatwave.
