Attended for a men’s back wax, appalling reception and customer service. Actual wax wasn’t bad no conversation whatsoever and rubbish interaction on the way out. Wouldn’t recommend and won’t be back.

I came here for a full-body wax and was very disappointed with the service. The wax strips seemed to be of poor quality, and I left with a lot of hair still remaining on my legs. For a professional waxing service, this is simply not acceptable.
The salon itself looks aesthetically pleasing and has a nice atmosphere, but unfortunately the quality of the treatment did not match the appearance of the shop. Overall, the experience was poor, and I would not return. I also would not recommend this salon to others looking for a good waxing service.

I've been visiting Gorj on and off since they opened 10 years ago mostly for brow threading and waxes; however, I won't be using their services anymore. Today I attended a full leg & bikini wax appointment, the service started off well with a lot of care taken but about 15 minutes into the appointment a second lady comes in to hurry along the service as they were short staffed and busy. I've had waxes in the past but never come across two estheticians waxing at once - this was much more painful and a very unpleasant experience. The appointment was booked well in advance, the slot was supposed to be 55 minutes but instead felt incredibly rushed as I was out the door by 20. I would recommend booking a different beauty salon for anything other than brow services.

Went for a wax and tint and had a really bad experience. I was rushed out once they realised they’d burnt my skin.

I asked for a light brown tint and ended up with black brows, completely not what I wanted. Then I was told my skin is “too sensitive” which isn’t true as I’ve had this treatment multiple times elsewhere with no issues at all.

Really disappointed with how this was handled, especially the lack of care and accountability. Please be cautious and always make sure you’re going somewhere that takes proper care of their clients.
