My first visit for a shellac manicure was great – a happy client here! 😊💅✅ But my second visit was the complete opposite, as you can tell by the purple color. I went in with a good mood, hoping to relax, but ended up counting the minutes until I could leave. Deby wasn’t attentive at all; she was on the phone with a relative the whole time. She applied multiple layers of shellac, rushed through cleaning my cuticles, and did a half-hearted job. I left really annoyed. It’s getting harder to find passionate people who enjoy what they do. We all have good and bad days, but don’t do to your clients what you wouldn’t want done to yourself.

UPDATE from their response:
They never contacted me numerous times they contacted me at 10:07 when I was already walking to the appointment. I was 15 minutes late for them but in my view 5 minutes early due to the unclear email I received. I showed the email and even the nail technician was confused.

The CCTV footage will show me walking out, coming back in, crying, to fetch my airpods and leave again and will have your staff raising her voice at me, being condensing due to being 15 minutes late. Bare in mind, at first it wasn't a time constraint issue I had to pay a late fee and within minutes she was unable to even do ANYTHING for my nails.

Again; I did not "randomly decide to change what I was having to acrylic". I suggested acrylic to save her time as at this point she was refusing to do anything to my nails when my 'second appointment' had started saying she had no time.

PREVIOUS COMPLAINT:
Horrible experience.

After a MISUNDERSTANDING (I was sent two separate emails about my appointment time). The email I read said 10:20, I arrived at 10:15 to find out it actually was at 10am. I showed her the email I had read and unbeknownst to me there was another email splitting the appointment into two, which personally I have never experienced.

She was incredibly hostile from the get go, stating she could no longer do my nails. I wanted my acrylic nails taken off and biab gel put on top. I was trying to find a a solution, asking maybe it would be quicker to just infill my acrylics to which she was raising her voice at me saying "i didn't book for acrylics". I was trying to find a quicker alternative due to the miscommunication.

It got incredibly hostile to the point I had a panic attack and had to leave, at 10:25, 10 minutes into getting there. I lost £55 and the woman had not even looked at my nails. Hands up, I did not understand how treatwell works, they split each thing they do on your nails into separate appointments, it was not clear at all.

Thankfully treatwell have compensated me for my money.
I will not be coming back here. Awful awful experience, cried all the way home as I was shocked.

"What services did you get?" none - she didn't even look at what needed to be done.

I’ve gotten biab here a few times and then also a removal! They take such good care of you and make sure you are comfortable. I’ve had appointments with Linda and Mel (and another lady I forgot her name), all have done an incredible job. I had my nails incredibly damaged from other salons and coming to this place helped me grow out my nails stronger again. Much love for this place 🤍

BIAB: Excellent service, most importantly files are new, and tools sterilised. Tanya is fantastic and always diligent ensuring my nails look amazing. I always receive compliments about how great they look. Appointment times adhered to without ridiculous waiting times and if there is a delay you are notified via text or a phone call. All staff in the salon are very professional and friendly. A great atmosphere with excellent prices. I highly recommend Beauty Nails and Aesthetics!
I have been having my nails done on and off for over 30 years from New York, Los Angeles to London. One of my biggest concerns about salons in London is the ‘chop shop’ mentality where waiting times are terrible despite booking in advance, files are used repeatedly with the same clients and tools are not sterilised using barbicide, this is the same for foot spa hygiene. Failing to do this means the salons most people attend are not complying with the law to keep you safe from a plethora of diseases and fungal infections.

Terrible. Paid for biab, my nails are bending and so thin. I had to file every nail when I came home and they were left rough and catching on my clothes. Not very skilled and a terrible attitude. The girl I had was very rude, unfriendly and unwelcoming.

I had booked an appointment 2 days prior. When I arrived at the place they told me I was not in the system and that they are fully booked. I asked how is it possible and they said they had 2 booking systems and if I can come 3/4 hours later in the day. I am sorry but I have other stuff to do as well. If I was able to come at 3/4pm I would book my appointment for then. My question is why do you have 2 booking systems when you cannot keep up with them? Just lost my time travelling for nothing. I was happy on my way there that I found a salon that potentially will make my nails the way I want them and left super disappointed….
