This salon is amazing. I had BIAB somewhere else and the nails were pretty damaged. Farrah suggested I do a strengthening treatment before redoing the biab. She was very professional and explained everything. The nail tech who did it, Manpreet, was super sweet and kept checking in with me to be sure she wasn't hurting me since my nails are so thin right now. She did an excellent job and gave me lots of advice. The salon is clean and all tools are sterilised.

I’ve been a regular at Kuko London for 18 months and honestly won't go anywhere else! It’s the appointment I look forward to most for my monthly maintenance. The BIAB has been amazing for my nail growth, and they always nail the designs I ask for when I send over inspo. Everyone who works here is so nice and the quality is always 10/10. I constantly get compliments on how long my sets last! 🤍

Gifted my daughter a first time Hydro facial at Kuko London and she/we had an amazing experience. Everyone was warm, attentive, invested and professional. The service was top quality and we are looking forward to visiting again. Highly recommend.

I had my nails done by Syrus, who initially did a fantastic job and was lovely. Unfortunately, less than 24 hours later they started to chip. I contacted the salon and, at my request, three nails were repaired.

Just three days later, the nails chipped again. When I called the salon, I was told I would need to have them redone entirely and pay another £62. By this point, I had already paid £67 and had a repair within the same week.

I asked whether a discount could be offered, given the amount I had already spent and the poor longevity of the work. This was refused, and I was told I would need to pay full price again.

I won’t be returning. The manager showed very poor customer service, and I feel completely robbed of my money. Other nail salons in the area charge £20–£30 less and their work lasts close to a month.

Awful management. Save your money.

The ambience, cleanliness & professionalism of Kuko is great, I like that their equipment is clearly sanitised & that they use TGB.

However, I found that for £60-70, I was not impressed with the level of service. Similar to a previous review, I found that communication could be improved on what tech’s can & cannot manage with regard to nail art. My nail art was wonky & the gel started cracking & lifting within 2 weeks. When I complained that the nail tech couldn’t do what I asked for, I was told that I was asking for a “non standard” french manicure and felt very unheard and blamed. Lots of great other salons at cheaper price points along Northfields that do an equal to better job.

I had a very uncomfortable experience here. During my manicure four to five of my fingers started bleeding and the bleeding continued for a while. I was told my cuticles were probably too sensitive, but when I showed the photos to another salon they immediately pointed out that the cuticles had been pushed and trimmed too aggressively.

I had asked the technician several times to be gentler, but the pressure continued and the skin was cut deeper each time. The result was torn cuticles on multiple fingers, which is not normal for a standard manicure.

The staff were polite but it was clear the technique was not safe or experienced. I honestly do not know why my nails were handled so harshly, but based on this experience I would not recommend this salon, especially if you have normal or even slightly sensitive cuticles. I would suggest choosing another place.

Really friendly team. Everything was clean, the tools were steralised and opened from the packet in front of me. I'm happy with manicure (I went for classic) and eyebrows were shaped really well. I've tried a few spots on Northfields Ave, which is crowded with options, but I'll be coming back to this one.

This place was a little strange as their pricing is on the high end but the application and finish of the manicure was not great. The manager (?) explained it’s a biab salon and not a gel manicure salon so they can’t ensure a super smooth finish but I’ve had cheaper gel manicures which hasn’t resulted in a bumpy / lumpy finish. They also have a very limited shade range so it’s not ideal if you’re of a deeper skin tone. On the Pro side their hygiene is great and they use individual tools on the customer.

I got my nails done (photo) 3 weeks ago and they have lasted so well - not a single chip of nail polish! The attention to detail and quality is unmatched, Cyrus is highly skilled and I would recommend her and the salon whole heartedly. The owner, Farrah, is really attentive, so welcoming and highly knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend!
