I’ve been a regular customer with Nutmeg for YEARS, going to them once a month, but due to personal reasons, I’ve not been able to go to them the last couple of months, but now that I was able to return to them, I wanted to use a Gift voucher I had, but it was past the expiration date & they would not except it, even though I’ve been a loyal customer for years! No GOOD WILL GESTURE for a long term customer. VERY DISAPPOINTING, that they don’t value their customers!

I took advantage of the Wellbeing detox treatment...what a lovely well balanced treatment, top to toe. Calming setting, not clinical, smells lovely and just an all round feel good environment.
Would always recommend Nutmeg.

What an amazing experience! When I first walked in, I was greeted by Hollie and made to feel instantly welcome and relaxed. The vibe that has been created is wonderful and feels like you have been transported somewhere so peaceful! I booked the 'Destress' treatment and my goodness it was excellent! I felt so relaxed and Jodie was brilliant! An amazing and calming experience. I will definitely be back again to try some other treatments. I can't wait to return - I didn't want to leave! Thank you!

I suffer from a long term illness and have lots of other health issues. I had been suffering so bad with all of it for over a week as the cold was killing my joints and the stress was putting my blood pressure up and causing my stomach more problems than I have . I booked in with Katie for an essence of stillness massage I can’t tell you what it has done.
Im fully out of pain . I no longer have fuzziness in my head and my stomach is much better. Katie is amazing so friendly and welcoming plus she is amazing expert to me in massage. Can’t wait to book again. Thank you again Katie xx

I was so pleased with my gel nails from Nutmeg Spa, they were beautifully done, they were very shiny and lasted three weeks and would have lasted longer but my nails were starting to grow. Lovely atmosphere, very friendly beauticians, highly recommend, I will most certainly return in the very near future, thank you Nutmeg Spa

I love my local little spa. I've been going for years and always have a relaxing time. I have all different massages from pregnancy to grounding and always feel mellow coming out. Facials are beaut too.

I’ve had two wonderful massages here which have really helped a shoulder injury. I’ve felt better after, less pain, and also had more movement in my joint. A really relaxing experience too, thank you 🙏 highly recommended

I have had many massages at Nutmeg, and previously gave my mum a gift card for Christmas there, and had another wonderful pregnancy massage today - the team are great and I am now quite heavily pregnant and felt so much better after my visit today! I’m hoping to squeeze in one more visit before the babies arrive!

My first experience at Nutmeg spa was a Pregnancy Massage. The reason I chose nutmeg is because as a local I walk past it sometimes and smell the beautiful aromas coming out of it. I also read so many nice reviews and I honestly don't understand those because my experience was completely different. At first I struggled to get an appointment and was made to put down a £35 non refundable deposit. A few days later, my appointment was moved/rescheduled without my say so and I was emailed a new appointment time and day. However, I really wanted the whole experience of feeling like I'm in a spa and the aromatic smells to relax me as I was tense that day.
I booked with who I assumed was the owner and was given an appointment for the following week. The appointment was moved and changed without my say so and I was sent an email with the new one, I went along anyway.

The young girl that did my massage seemed really nice, but the massage unfortunately, was appalling, didn't do anything for me and I walked out of there feeling worse than when I went in. Did not help my neck pain but instead gave me a massive cramp in my arm. The massage was £70 whereas a week later I went to the Thai place and paid £60 for a massage which was 10 x better.

The worst thing about the pregnancy massage at Nutmeg was that I was forced into being a contortionist and masseuse made me lay in the most uncomfortable and unnatural position I have ever been in. When I tried to move out of it, she told me off and said I must move back so that i was laying with my arm awkwardly behind me and on my shoulder. My blood flow slowed and i got the most massive cramp. The position she made me get into to do my front was no better and hurt my lower back.
It's safe to say, I was in pain the whole way through.

One week later I paid for another massage at the Thai Sangdaos and I didn't have any of these problems. I was comfortable and relaxed.
To conclude, what a waste of £70 and I am thoroughly disappointed!
I won't be returning to Nutmeg.

Edit: the owner seems very rude in person as well as on here and said I asked for the end another massage. I didn't I asked to return for a facial. I live very locally and it's my nearest beauticians to walk to (not driving because pregnant) I wanted to give nutmeg and it's other staff members another chance this response has upset me even more and I'll be making sure to tell my family and friends all about my experiences with nutmeg now.

Quite simply the best massage and facial I have ever had. Highly recommend. What a real treat and so incredibly grateful, as someone who works full time and is a carer for my father I don’t get a lot of time to myself and it was just bliss.
