It was my first time visiting Beauty at The Bay today - incredibly impressed - a lovely welcome from reception, pleasant seating area and my therapist Malvina was perfection! I had a wax treatment which was speedy, efficient and (nearly) pain free. Will be back again, recommend anyone looking for a wax treatment to go here.

visited today for a little hen party pamper for a lovely friend. cannot recommend the services, the team and treatments highly enough. from the start everyone was warm, friendly and welcoming. staff were on hand and very attentive throughout. I had the most incredible hot lava stone massage and have to say the best massage I've ever had. afternoon tea was amazing, lots of delicious, fresh food and catered amazingly for my daughter's gluten free/veggie needs. perfect little setting, beautiful weather and little sun trap chilling out the back. will definitely be back. huge thanks 🩷

I had a gel manicure and massage from Beauty at the Bay today and it made my day so special. My nails were beautiful and my massage was so lovely. I especially appreciated Belle making me feel so comfortable and at ease during the massage and I left feeling much better - not just because of the massage but because she was so kind.

My work was cancelled so I thought I'd take a trip to Beauty at the Bay, I was given birthday 🤑 for.. the salons in a lovely area of Great Horksley, when I arrived I was able to pay cash on arrival for a walk in, I was offered a cup of tea and was guided to the lounge reception.. where you could leave a review, should of done that before I left, they also had products that you could look at on the shelf, smell& buy, I was guided upstairs to a sensory room where there were lay down beds, lovely fragrances in the air, beautiful lights, it felt like 🌃 time in the day which is nicer I think because you can then leave in the sunlight to go home, you could easier sit, lay and relax on the beds with cushions and blankets, there were other ladies in there too, waiting or getting ready to go from their treatment to see what sort of treatments they had too,
I was guided in to the room to have my treatment, the lady mentioned what was going to be done, I was given a dbl shampoo conditioner that not all Japanese headspas do with a lovely massage it was a complimentary headspace so 1 that's a little bit shorter than normal but was just what I needed, I then was told to go back to relax in the sensory room, I was then given a refreshing lemon tea for a detox, a sorbet to finish, a little going over of the treatment I had, some of the ladies let you know of any products they use for the future, you then have time to look at the products on sale and can pay after Thank - you so much

I had the electrolysis treatment for milia removal with Marie as my aesthetician. Marie is professional and very knowledgeable, giving advice for the right treatment and aftercare and explaining the process every step of the way. Her work is precise but gentle, from start to finish I felt at ease and in safe hands! All of the blemishes are gone. Thank you for giving my confidence back. I can’t recommend Marie and the salon highly enough!

First time treatment at Beauty at the bay and it won’t be my last!! Absolutely loved the Dermalux treatment and still enjoying seeing improvements to my skin tone, texture and disappearance of fine lines weeks later. Felt totally relaxed and spoilt and will be recommending Beauty at the Bay and the Dermalux treatment with light skin peel for anyone looking to refresh their complexion.

Coming to beauty at the bay is an absolute treat! Gemma’s usually on the front desk and is always super lovely and welcoming. No matter how busy the salon is there is always an air of calm and the decor is beautiful. I’ve had a variety of treatments throughout my time as a client and all of the girls are so friendly and amazing at what they do, I’ve never come away feeling disappointed. Special mention to Labertina who always looks after me with massage, thank you! The sorbet and herbal tea in the relaxation room is fabulous! Ten out of ten service, highly recommend :)

I had one of the best massages I’ve ever had with Lisa. She really listened and tailored the aromatherapy massage to exactly what I needed after a stressful time, and I left feeling so relaxed and cared for. The relaxation area is beautiful and comfy with lovely refreshments, a calm atmosphere where I didn’t feel at all rushed. It was such a wonderful experience from start to finish, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

I recently visited Beauty at Bay for a facial. The salon itself was lovely and had plenty of parking, which was a great start.
​However, the overall experience felt less like a relaxing facial and more like a sales pitch. I felt that they were constantly pushing products throughout the session, making it feel more like an advertisement than a service.
​To make matters worse, I paid an extra £22 for a blackhead removal service that was never performed. As a result, the facial was cut short.
​While the salon is nice, the experience didn't meet my expectations. So, unfortunately, I will be looking somewhere else to go regularly.
