Been going here for many years. Used to be a 5 star service but unfortunately had 2 bad experiences recently. I enjoyed having my nails done with intricate designs here previously but won’t be returning :’(
I had acrylic nail extensions not including manicure (with gel polish) and pedicure with gel polish £88. Price was a lot compared to elsewhere but I was happy to pay having had good experiences with my nails there before. Pedicure: Gel Polish didn’t last long (1 week) and started peeling off, no top coat applied. Acrylic full set with gel polish: The lady was on what seemed like a FaceTime call throughout the whole application process and not focused on me or my nails. I wasn’t asked about length I wanted, the nails were not measured against each other and the acrylic was weaker at the apex of the nail. This meant that the nails snapped off very easily and it was painful. I lost 3 within 1 week. I also had glue stuck on my skin when I left that I had to remove myself. Furthermore, the polish had a black speck of dust painted and cured onto one nail.
Second experience:
I purchased a gift voucher for my mum to have a pedicure with polish on natural nails. She told me she had to request a top coat as they were drying as it was initially forgot. Also price list didn’t match what was on large board behind desk. Price showed £35 but the lady pulled out a different price list showing £38 and demanded £3 more. I brought this as a Mother’s Day gift so was disappointed to hear the price was not as advertised. If prices were updated they shouldn’t advertise differently on the board behind the desk.

Thankyou for the below reply. I believe you have me mistaken for a different client so wanted to clarify. I had my nails done without any design just a pink gel colour. I also didn’t have gel removed from my toes and no discount was applied. I came in on Monday 11th May. I was the only customer. During the acrylic application and throughout, the nail technician was on a call which seemed personal and I felt the service lacked. Other calls from clients were taken from another device.

I’ve been coming here for nearly five years now and I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else. I’m always so happy with my nails — no matter what design I bring in, they either recreate it perfectly or come up with great ideas themselves.

I’ve never been disappointed. The whole team are so friendly and always do their best to fit me in, even when they’re really busy.

I absolutely love coming here and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them!

I have been going to KTL nails for years and I have never had a bad experience. The owner Khanh is lovely , along with her team. You are always made to fell welcome and will offer you a tea or coffee. If you have a particular design you want Khan will always do her upmost to do the design on your nails. Nothing is too much trouble for her or her team. There are so many colours to choose from and they always bringing out new colours. By far the best nail bar in Debden, Loughton. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Never had a bad experience here. The owner Khahn and the men are so friendly and are always happy to have a conversation. Whether I have a simple colour or a design, they always do their very best and I leave happy every time. I’ve been to other nail shops that have charged a lot for my nails only to have me going back to get them fixed but here my nails last a long time and it is affordable for me. I will definitely carry on going to KTL when I want to get my nails done.

Absolutely awful shop. I went there for nail removal, and paid 10£ for the terrible experience. The old lady was just super tough, whether skills or attitude. I asked her to polish my nail with nail buffer in the end, she and other colleagues just couldn’t understand or they even didn’t have the tool. She was consistently rude and wanted to put polish gel on my nails, and I constantly said I don’t want any gels! In the end, I gave up. 🤷🏻‍♀️

All of the team are lovely here, they are friendly and offer great advice. Everyone who works here are professional and the shop has a great range of colours and designs. I have been going here for a long time and do not trust anyone else to do my nails. I highly recommend.
