Always receive an excellent service from the lovely staff here, the attention to detail is superb, I’ve tried numerous other nail shops and this one is definitely the best, I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Underwhelmed. I went to the salon as my usual salon was sick. They fit me in on the day. Nail prep is all done my drills, removing nails and cuticle removal. I do not like the drills and my nail folds still feels tender from the cuticle removal on my thumbs and now I am worried about infection/hygenie. I had a coloured French tip gel hand nails and polished toes. The base is not a solid colour and the French line is not great. Additionally, the colour in the shop looks a lot different due to poor lighting. When asking for the same colour on my toes as nails this was nearly an issue when someone else did my toes and kept coming back with pink not orange nail colour. They eventually found the colour after I repeated the number/brand. Also the vibe in the shop is just off, they don't really talk to customers and there seems to be one woman they report to. In long, I will not be going back as I have definitely had better.

Photos taken the following Monday - 7 days later. They are chipped and not looking good. I have been on two city breaks since getting them done, no swimming or cleaning so no reason they should look like this.

I’ve been going to Bear Nails for over 5 and a half years and would never change the staff for anybody! I made that mistake once for travel convenience and safe to say I will suck up the drive from Luton all the way to Loughton! My hands are always done by Sammie and my feet are done by whoever is in that day and I have never left feeling disappointed! Sammie always ensures I’m happy with the length and shape before completion which I always appreciate as this was an issue for me in past salons. I’ve met a handful of people who have been unnecessarily rude to the staff in sammies shop and the staff have handled it amazingly considering the discrimination they can face from time to time from patronising locals…a few of you have left bad reviews for Sammie knowing you have bitten your nails off and have been rude to her staff, shameful! Sammie, mum and team, continue doing you, clearly Chris Brown thinks you’re good enough and so do I!

Nails started chipping two days after having them done, messaged the nail shop and asked for a refund they don’t refund but said they’d fix it for me, fair enough however I couldn’t get down to have them ‘fixed’ a day later one broke even more so I messaged again and the response was ‘I’ve been doing nails for 15 years and hun you’ve picked that’ very patronising not happy at all paid for them to. Be done and now out of pocket as have to have them redone elsewhere!

Unless u get sammy, your stuffed, they are rude, and no good at what they do. Your nails end up butchered. Wont be going back.
