I don’t usually do this but it’s a MUST for this one! I have been attending this nail shop for 5years or just under, there are two man ladies I don’t recall their names but the in terms of quality of service one is better than the other or as she explained “they all individually have favourite clients people work differently”! The Boss, her quality on nails is awful it has always been I noticed whenever it was her there was always a terrible gap and her husband even worst! Anyway I never complained I don’t want to offend her but this time I have a very important wedding so I waited for ages to then find out the one who does it good was booked so I ended up with “the boss”. As she was doing the it looked almost decent but at the end I had to speak up
This time kindly so I told her what I felt in a kind anyway she understood and gave her reasons and I left, next day I realised how awful they were and I couldn’t go to a wedding with them if it was day to day as usual I wouldn’t say anything because pretty basic with nails and they actually know this! Anyway next day I call in and explain I want to
Book with the other lady and come in and re-do them..the Boss the one who has poor quality who did this rubbish you see on the pics she got annoyed and started shouting down the phone said she didn’t want me as a customer blah blah and hung up. I went up to the shop and spoke to her face to face she again said you watched me to them and finish them and didn’t say anything and now you want to complain I said no I want to re book with the other lady and re do them.,pay with my own money. She was not having it and dismissed me as a customer 🤣😂
I seriously wanted to punch her in the face but I have too much to lose.

To be honest I’ve always found you quite rude with your customers, you rush and the whole time you was doing my nails you was on your phone watching the camera about house talking to your husband, no wonder you left my fingers looking like sausages with white tips!

Do better! And be kind you never know when you might need people and you run a business.,,
Learn and grow don’t say “this is the best I can do” you sound stupid and Lazy!

Hi, thanks for your review! Sorry that’s you feel this way but we can’t take your custom anymore.

First, the other day you came to the shop said you want a full set. We asked if you want to wait for other lady who you like better and you said no, anyone can do. Then we put the nail tips on. Then you said you forget something, can’t get your nails done today and we have to spend more time to removed the tips that we already put on for you. You know our time is money and our time was wasted and it wasn’t our fault. You didn’t even say thank or sorry or offer to pay for the time we spend for what happened.

Second, I did advise you that with your nails and finger type, square shape or round shape would suit them better but you insisted you wanted coffin shape. So I have to do what customer want and I asked you every step that I did that are they ok. You said they are nice. So I carried on my work. Then once it finish you said I leave a gap everytime I done the nail and other girl don’t so I explain if you like her she can book with her next time as everyone has different ways to do nails, some customers they like my way and some like her way. You then went to talk to the lady and say bad thing about me like I’m rude and I’m not allowed to say this, that. Sorry your words offended me. I explain to you again then you left. Afternoon you call the shop again I pick up and you just say wrong number. Very rude the way you talked and we didn’t know it was you. Next morning you called then this time you said who you are and said want to book with other lady. I asked what would you like to do you said take all off and redo. The day before you said I leave a gap so if you want a repaint I would agreed but take all off has nothing to do with left a gap. I also explained if you want like that you have to pay as it was not my fault you don’t like the shape of the nail because that what you asked for. You didn’t agree and did not say you will pay like in the review. At that point we have to refuse to do for your nails. And in all of our conversation you kept saying my nails always horrible, that’s offended me so I don’t want to see you and talk to you again. There’s a lot of nicer way to say to people like: can you paint closer to my cuticle, can you do this do that or I’m sorry this shape doesn’t suit me can you redo it. You even asked my why I’m upset. My answer is simple if you come for 7 years and always think my job is horrible please go somewhere else and make yourself happy. Why keep coming back and be unhappy and make me sad too? Life is too short to be tortured or abused. It doesn’t worth it for both of us

Excellent technicians at the establishment. Their work ethic and attention to detail is second to none. Maya is extremely helpful re advice on treatments. She also explains what she will do and listens to your requests offering various choices. I cannot fault the service here. It's hard to find parking (I always get a lift) but not impossible. The nail bar is located on a busy main road.

I have been coming here for 13 years and would not go anywhere else! Nails are always done to a high standard and exactly what I ask for, everyone that works here is polite and talkative. Designs are always done spot on. Prices are reasonable compared to alot of other places.

It’s clear that the focus here is more on making money than on delivering quality service. The staff also seems to strongly prefer cash payments, which struck me as suspicious and less than transparent.
The infill service I received was a complete waste of £28. To make matters worse, I was charged an additional £5 for something as basic as pushing back/tidy up cuticles, something I never expected to be an extra charge.

Hi, sorry that you feel it that way. But to be clear, our infill with gel colour is only £20 which is very cheap compare with other shop. And you have white tip which cost you £3 extra and you wanted your cuticle to be removed which cost £5 extra so in total is £28. Time is money so any extra service will cost you extra.
We prefer cash than card payment because we do have to pay for the card machine each time customer paying by card. Everything is become more expensive including staff wages and we still keeping our price as low as possible.

i booked my appointment at 12:15pm a week in advance for today but i didn’t get my nails done because i was waiting for 50 minutes. all staff were attending to other customers before me even though i booked time a week prior. it’s extremely horrible service to make a customer who has pre-booked wait for almost one hour. won’t be coming back here again.

I’m sorry for your experience. It’s Christmas time and everyone having nails design and it makes nails sets took longer than we expected and all our appointments has been delayed than they should be. We are really sorry and we really hope to see you again.

Absolutely disgusting attitude when I went back to the shop a day after getting my nails done as the chrome was done so badly, they were rushing my nails to get me out of the door the night before. Katie (the owner) said they’re not messy and that put her head down, refused to acknowledge me, proceeded to get angry and shushed me lol. Another lady spoke up and said “the same attitude I just got” and proceeded to show me her mashhhhhed up claws. The shop has never seen a duster in it’s existence… let alone anti bac… wouldn’t risk my damn health again.

We were fully booked and I’ve answered you politely but you refused to accept it. And the lady took more than an hour for your nails the day before. We close at 6 but all 3 of us and my daughter who is 8 had to wait for you until 7:20 and you say we were rush. And your nails didn’t cheap off or break. If your think what we did is messy nails as you claim please don’t come back as our standard can’t satisfy you. You are not only customer in the shop so yes after I answered you, I have to focus on doing my job. And the lady who agree with you actually isn’t our customer who just get nails done somewhere else, nails broke and need us to fix. She did get her nails fix out of my kindness because she didn’t even pay. So we don’t want her custom too. Thanks for not coming back.
