Been going to these for many years and today was the worst experience I’ve ever had, went for infills and she filed the nail down that much it went down to my natural nail leaving it red and saw, didn’t even apologise just carried on until the older lady took over and she apologised

When I asked the lady to cut my nails, she cut them very short. Too short that it hurt me & ruined my nail beds. She also did not have a nice attitude towards me.

However, she did do the nails quickly & the acrylic nails do look quite nice.

A friend recommended ocean nails to me and it is the best nail salon I have ever been to. Everyone is really lovley and my nails always look amazing and last so long. The owner Maya is so nice and she is welcoming. I would 1000% recommend this place to get your nails done in Nottingham.

"I've been a loyal customer of Ocean Nails for three years, with Maiya consistently delivering excellent results. However, over the past six months, the quality has declined to the point where my nails have been breaking painfully down the centre of my natural nails after only a few days. I feel criticized no matter what I do—if I point out issues, I’m scolded, and if I don’t, I’m still blamed for not saying anything.Today I experienced outright rudeness that was unnecessary: she told me my nails were too long for her to do, and waste to much products even though she’s done them for years at this length and I happily pay extra for.After I asked for a small shape adjustment, she abruptly refused, even hurting me with the file. She also tried to overcharge me £50 for four infills and six replacements, when the correct price should have been around £35–£40. I refused to pay the inflated amount and offered £40. Throughout others time in the shop Maiya changed the pricing as she went along as I know what she charges. She even sighed and rolled her eyes at another customer who walked in, for a simple pedicure and tutted at another lady as she was asking for adjustments.Despite claiming a passion for long nails this is a disgrace. After years of loyalty and tipping, I will not be returning. I strongly urge others to think twice before booking, as my experience has been deeply negative today and over the past six months.

Ive had such a mix bag of experiences here the staff can be lovely and kind tho most speak minimum English. Other times I've gone in and seen staff be rude to newer clients. The place is always clean and tidy on all of my vists! The wait on the other hand is a big issue they never turn people away so at times you can get in and out within an hour or less others your sat for close to 2 hours having the staff jump between customers and waiting 20 minutes in between steps of your service which is normal in the industry but pretty unpleasant at times. Id definitely recommend the place especially if you see it's quite as they are definitely good at what they do

Filthy place and terrible customer service. Waiting times are shocking. Made me soak the feet in for 40 mins trying to get in as many people as possible in a meantime… absolute waste of time. Avoid at all cost !

Such a great experience! The sweetest Vietnamese lady did my nails and was so kind and attentive. My nails turned out beautiful and looked exactly like the picture I showed her. Perfectly shaped and finished so nicely. I’ve already gotten compliments and will definitely be back!
