I've been here twice for normal gel nails - the first time was great! The girl who did my nails was lovely and she did exactly what I wanted and made a great job of it, however when I came back to have them removed and re-done I had the worst, most stressful experience ever. The man doing my nails has ruined my natural nails during the removal process by shaving off a layer of my nail rather than just the gel polish - goodness knows how long it'll take for them to grow out back to normal. Theres a visible ridge on my nail now where the new growth is substantially thicker than whats left.

On top of this he was incredibly slow, it took nearly an hour for the removal and once we started on the gel polish, that was slow too, I could tell everyone else was waiting for him to finish so I could leave and they could close. The whole thing made me feel super unwelcome, the other staff were hovering around watching him work until someone else took over (I got the impression this was to get the job done quickly and get me out the door).
The actual nail art turned out okay but it wasnt at all what I wanted, after I picked the colours and explained what I wanted (super simple compared to some of the examples on their instagram!) he seemed to just go for it and do whatever he fancied in those colours I'd chosen. By the time the second staff member had taken over I felt so rushed and unwelcome that I didn't feel I could tell them it wasn't what I wanted when she asked if it was okay. Honestly by then I just wanted to leave.

I could've dealt with rushing/incorrect design but I'm so upset that my natural nails have been ruined by the removal process they use - i don't know if its how they do it for everyone, I'm guessing not becausenthe reviews are generally good, or just my misfortune and the one guy i had. Personally I won't be taking the chance again and having anymore removals done here.

My nails look beautiful but they charged me way too much. I had looked online at prices before coming in and expected a simple french tip and small design to be around £36. Halfway through the process they told me it was £53. I had to agree as the nail was already on. I was so shocked and felt i had been taken advantage of because I was on my own and I am young. I was so extremely disappointed with the price and it ruined my experience.

My nails afterwards feel painful and brittle as they were too harsh with the nail file, I was sat in pain for most of the process. Not worth your money - its a scam.

Such a great experience as always at En Rose! So many colours to choose from and they can do so many different designs for you! Would 100% recommend. Have been coming here once a month since 2022 and they never disappoint!
Got my honeymoon nails done today and they are so lovely! Exactly what I asked for!
Plus the pedicure was great too!

I've been going to En Rose for a few months now and never disappointed. I always get acrylic overlay with a light base and chrome as well as adding some nail art for a pop of colour. I always choose to make an app in advance for my schedule. The shop is a great environment and the team are welcoming and friendly. 5*

If you’re getting a manicure in Dundee, there’s nowhere better than En Rose! Always a beautiful job, and such a friendly team. Couldn’t recommend more :)
