I went to Princess Nails, High Wycombe on Saturday morning, about 09.30am, just as a walk in. They were very friendly and professional. I got my feet done, with a red shellac colour. They did a lovely job on my feet, in a lovely massage chair. Very quick, professional and a very clean nail salon. The cost was £38.00, which I thought was reasonable. Very pleased.
What I wanted and what I got! The man who served me did amazing! He was so patient with me considering it was my first time in a nail salon 😂 they were friendly and gentle with your hands. I will be going again for summer! This cost me £40 which I thought was a really good price considering what other places price.
Beautiful nails and lovely service, thank you ❤️
They are very talented on there work High quality also very good staff
I’ve been going to this salon for over 5 years now and they are amazing! Hannah and team will always make your nail colour and design dreams come true!
Love it every time I have my nails done
I have been going to princess nails since it opened and I am always happy with the service in the shop. I suffered with a random acrylic allergy and Hannah was so helpful in finding something that worked for me and my nails. Would highly recommend :)
I have been going to this nail salon the past few years and unfortunately I think after my last visit, I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. The nail technician was more interested in his phone than helping me pick a colour. When asked for recommendations of a specific colour he just shoved the colour bands in front of me and continued to scroll through his phone. Really disappointed with the lack of people skills, I just found it really rude. I wasn't being a difficult customer, just needed some advice on a colour.
I had a disappointing experience at this nail salon. The technician who did my nails seemed to struggle with English, which I understood and handled with patience and politeness. Unfortunately, another employee’s behavior made the experience very uncomfortable.
From the beginning, I felt rushed. The nail shaping was not done properly, which I tried to overlook since the salon was busy. However, whenever I asked simple questions about my nails, the staff would look at each other, stare at other customers, and then look back at me in a judgmental way. This happened multiple times and felt very unprofessional and disrespectful.
After buffing, my nails were left rough and not smooth. I politely asked if smoothing was part of their process or if they usually leave them like that—purely out of curiosity. Instead of a simple explanation, I received rude looks and a very dismissive response.
At the end, a product was applied all over my nails without explanation. I asked what it was, as I was confused because you don’t put cuticle oil directly on nails but cuticles, and was told it was cuticle oil, but the response was loud, irritated, and aggressive. There was no reason to raise their voices when I was simply asking a question.
Overall, I felt judged, rushed, and treated rudely throughout the appointment. Customer service and communication were very poor, and the experience left me feeling uncomfortable rather than relaxed.
The worst salon I have ever been to, they charged £70 for an acrylic pedicure and £28 for regular nail polish and that's what I ended up with. This is what my nails looked like 5 minutes after I left. They don't tell you the price up front, they warn you after it starts.
Hi Prya
Today you came to my shop and before we started I clearly told you the price: a regular pedicure is 28 pounds.
You said you wanted a FULL SET TOENAIL OF ACRYLIC WITH SHELLAC COLOR and PEDICURE.
I told you it would be 45 pounds for the FULL SET TOES NAILS with SHELLAC AND 25 pounds extra for pedicure. making a total 70 pounds
in the end , you only got the regular pedicure for 28 pounds. you didn't want to wait for it to dry as you said you left in 5 minutes. You have to wait 10-15 minutes for regular polish to dry. It is NOT SHELLAC COLOR . I already explained you
You can not complain about something unreasonable like that.
Thank you
Really bad every time I go there it a defrent price and I got my nails done Tuesday and already the gel nails I payed £70 with shellac toes is coming off BAD SHOP Never going back....no cuticsls cut no push back just rush and over charge you.....
Hi Hayley
We are sorry to hear about that. If the nail polish is chipping, we are more than happy to fix it for you. Please not thay we always provide the price upfront before starting any service. we hope to have a chance to make things right for you.

First time going here for a quick toe shellac colour take off and paint before my flight tomorrow morning. Service from a young lady who i forgot to take the name of was lovely. She was welcoming and warm and made me feel instantly comfortable. She cut, filed and buffed my nails as part of the service and painted really well going the extra mile of adding a third coat because the paint was quite faint. Didn't expect to like it and return since there are few closer establishments to me and this was a quick walk in service but I would happily make a conscious effort to return based on my service! Thank you lovely people!
