Heidi was so amazing and patient with my mum who's recovering from a brain injury. She made sure to ask my mum lots of questions about what she wanted to make sure my mum was 100% happy. I think the head massage made mum feel the best she has in months. Thank you, Heidi, for making my mum's day!! We'll be back for highlights next! All the nurses on mum's ward have said she looks a million dollars, all thanks to you. Highly recommend Heidi and The Doll House. All the girls working there are lovely.

I had a deeply disappointing experience here. I booked an appointment, received a confirmation by email, and travelled to the salon, only to find out it had been cancelled without any notice.
I messaged the lash tech to ask what happened, and she didn’t even bother to reply. No explanation, no apology, no respect.
When I arrived, another staff member told me that the beauty professionals there are “self-employed” and basically just show up when they feel like it.
In other words, there is no reliability, no accountability, and no communication.
How can clients trust a place like this?
I would never recommend this place to anyone. It’s chaotic, disorganized, and disrespectful. Communication and basic respect are essential in any service business, and unfortunately, this salon failed on every level.
I’m posting the screenshot here to prove that it’s not true that my phone was unavailable.
Here’s the message I received via WhatsApp on Sunday, one day before the appointment.
So how was my number not valid?

Not great had a lash lift which didn’t work very well and had it re booked as a free of charge appointment before my holiday to then get a message saying she hadn’t booked it in properly! I only go into York on set days with my job which I had explained but she hadn’t listened to this as I got a load of messages with other appointment days on. Then got a message to say she’d moved people around and got a space for me but by this point I was annoyed and felt it would be too awkward to go back! Also what was meant to be a 45 minute lash lift took over an hour!

My experience at doll house was exceptional. Chantelle was very sweet and provided all the specialist knowledge that we needed to know. Would highly recommend Chantelle, out of all the beauty services in york it is definitely worth visiting here!!!

Absolutely stunning Russian eyelash extensions by Maisy, I've had lots of compliments as they are dramatic which is exactly what I wanted as I'd had disappointing extensions in the past so I'm really happy I've found Maisy and will be going back for sure to keep them looking fab! Also Maisy is a really lovely down to earth girl. Also the price was so low for such a brilliant service!
