This was an extremely upsetting and unacceptable experience, especially for my 10-year-old daughter.
We went in to choose some lip gloss, but a member of staff closely followed her around the store, staring at her and repeatedly questioning whether she was going to buy everything she was holding.

This behaviour was intimidating and completely inappropriate. My daughter was left frightened and distressed, and I only realised how upset she was after we had already paid. Had I been aware at the time, I would have refused to complete the purchase and asked to speak to a manager immediately.

There was absolutely no justification for treating a child in this way. It was humiliating and deeply disappointing. No customer — especially a child — should be made to feel suspected or unwelcome for simply browsing.

I will not be returning, and I sincerely hope the store takes this seriously and addresses how customers are treated.

Went to this Superdrug to use their new ear wax removal service, I had a booked appointment and was seen very promptly, all the staff were so friendly and the nurse that saw me talked through everything and made sure I fully understood everything and that I was comfortable. It was a really nice well stocked clean store as well but I didn’t stop here for anything else.
