I visited here because my usual nail place wasn’t available. The initial treatment was fine but within a few days some of the paint started to lift. I went back for them to fix it, which they did free of charge but now coming up for infill and nearly all the gel paint has peeled off AGAIN and one nail has totally come off! I won’t be visiting again, I’ve bad my acrylics done for years and they’ve never been in such bad shape at the point of requiring an infill

Salon is under new management and I had an amazing pedicure yesterday , friendly staff , hot rock and steam massage at the end . My feet felt amazing. The salon now also looks amazing and feels so much cleaner. Thankyou 😊

I recently visited Hollywood Nail Shop, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. With a name like “Hollywood,” I expected high-quality, professional service, but the result was far from it.

The technician did not properly clean my nails and left old nail polish residue around them. The shaping and painting were poorly done and looked rushed. There was a clear lack of attention to detail, and the final result did not look professional at all.

When customers pay for a service, they expect cleanliness, precision, and care. The salon should ensure that trained and experienced professionals are providing treatments. Sadly, I will not be returning.

I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because the service I received certainly did not live up to the name “Hollywood.” 😏

0 STAR FROM ME! (If it was an option) I had an appointment here on Thursday last week and the nails are awful. The biab is unbalanced and the tips are way too thick, lengths are uneven. It gets worse, because he took the thumb length too short for the shape I wanted, he began to saw into my skin. As I result my thumb is swollen, throbbing and the swelling is gradually spreading. I am in absolute agony, I’ve never experienced this before, I am treating it regularly with antiseptic so it doesn’t get infected. I’ve had the odd cut here and there but never like this!

Absolutely awful experience! I went today with my daughter to get our nails done, my daughter had a full set of acrylics and the man cut her cuticles on both thumbs causing her to bleed quite badly he was rough and made her fingers very sore!

My experience was terrible I asked for acrylic removal and builder gel, they filled a glass bowl with acetone and made me put my hands in it and covered with a towel for around 15 mins my hands were burning so I took them out and I was told to put them back in I said I can’t my hands are really burning! During this time the man sitting next to me phlegms into the bin in front of everyone then sits filing his nails while he was waiting for his customers nails to dry, very unprofessional! Someone then came over and started using the drill to file the remaining acrylic off and it was flying everywhere hitting me in the face and he was being really rough I then couldn’t take anymore and asked for someone else to do my nails and the man tried to shove my hand back in the acetone I said no I want someone else to do my nails! Another man came and took over, this man was also very rough yanking my arm etc, when he put the biab on my nail and put it under the lamp it burnt so badly I couldn’t keep it under I’ve never felt pain like it! He kept telling me it was normal! It wasn’t cause this has never happened before! I asked for a colour and was told I couldn’t have it as it wasn’t the base colour and he kept trying to force me to have a different colour I kept saying I didn’t want that one I wanted a pink one he then tried one and it still wasn’t what I liked but I just ended up going with it cause by this point I was upset and wanted to get out of there, they still charged me £78 for our nails and I’m so unhappy with the service and the state of my nails! I would strongly recommend you do not go to this place to get your nails done!!!

I never write bad reviews however i got my nails done on saturday and this is what they already look like. Saturday evening i realised the paint was lifting now it’s completely come off. I’m not happy and will not be returning.

I came here with my friend as my regular place was too busy - I never normally write bad reviews as I normally have positive experiences but this place was far from a good experience, from the offset majority of the staff were quite cold and not very welcoming, they don’t speak very good English so I’m guessing this is why they come across as rude, the First Lady that was doing my nails was very rushed and kept catching my skin when using the drill and when I had to speak up and say it was hurting I just got ignored, the second guy who did my nails was extremely heavy handed and kept grabbing my hands and digging his nails into my hands which hurt, he also caught my skin with the drill causing it to bleed. When I mentioned this he did apologise but didn’t seem very sincere. He then moved on to another girl when my nails were still drying under the lamp and never told me to continue drying them again and when I took them out he then had a go at me and said to put them back in their not dry, I just don’t appreciate being spoken to like that and I definitely will not be returning. Overall the nails do look presentable however I can get better service somewhere for a cheaper price

Got my nails painted with gel, one of my nails is rock hard and chipping. I have no clue what they have put on this particular nail but my nails are destroyed. The nail tech also chopped off 3 of my nails I have been growing all year because he didn’t listen to me when I told him I didn’t want extensions. The price is always different too- I get the same treatment each time
