rude workers, the second you walk in they follow you around and ask to see your shopping, then they checked the cctv and didn’t even apologise, they’re so rude it’s crazy

I went to the selly Oak Superdrug today and I had the best customer service by Lexi on the beauty section. Help me choose all selections of make up and I had a good customer service from the cashier Treasure. They were both brilliant today I will be coming back.
Also had my eyebrows done the ladies were brilliant

I had an amazing customer assistant called Lola.
Honey let me tell you I do not know where to begin with makeup but this girl knows her stuff.
She broke it down with the contouring, concealer and what best suits my skin tone, the young lady knew her stuff.

No matter your budget she will still match you with good quality choices.

And ladies...when I tell you her make up was on point 💃

Discriminatory Treatment at Superdrug Store

I am writing to express my profound disappointment and concern regarding the discriminatory behaviour I encountered at one of your Superdrug branches. My recent visit was distressing, as I was subjected to what I perceived as racial profiling and blatant disregard by members of your store team.

From the moment I entered the store, one of the sales assistants persistently stared at me, creating a hostile and uncomfortable environment—as though I were under suspicion. Such behaviour is deeply offensive and suggests an assumption based solely on my appearance. I would like to firmly remind your team that being a person of colour does not equate to being untrustworthy. I am a skilled worker in this country, contributing to the economy and paying taxes, just like any other citizen.

Furthermore, when I politely requested assistance in accessing a lipstick that was difficult to retrieve, another member of staff responded dismissively and rudely, saying: “If you can’t take it, I also can’t.” Her tone was condescending and unhelpful. I question whether such a response would have been given to a white customer. The contrast in treatment suggests a disturbing lack of professional training and a possible bias that needs to be urgently addressed.

I have worked hard to build a life here, overcoming many challenges. I expected better from a well-established brand like Superdrug, which I believed to stand for inclusivity and fairness.

I sincerely hope your organisation takes this matter seriously. I urge you to conduct a review of the customer service standards at this particular store and to offer proper training in anti-discrimination and cultural sensitivity.
