After recently moving to Tynemouth, I was in search of a new nail salon. I came across some great reviews and decided to try Fabulous Nails & Beauty.

I visited on Saturday for gel toes and nail infills, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the experience. I didn’t catch any names, but the gentleman with glasses who did my toes was so gentle and clearly a perfectionist. The lady who did my nails was just as lovely! I was undecided on colour, and she was so helpful, taking the time to test different options for me.

The atmosphere was really welcoming, and I didn’t feel rushed at all, which can sometimes be the case in other salons. Everything felt calm and professional.

I was so happy with the service I received and the price was very reasonable too. I’ll definitely be back, thank you so much!

Once again I feel like the quality of service from all staff was a 10/10, when I came in I was greeted politely and even my chair was pulled out for me! I had short but pleasant conversations with staff and feel like the attention to detail on all stages of my nails being done was perfect! Even being checked over multiple times! So I just wanted to say a big thank you ! Xx

This was my second visit to fabulous nails. First set amazing eventually after noone could paint my nails the shades I needed despite a photo. I gave you the benefit of the doubt. Second set. 3 have come off within 1 week. I was concerned when acrylics were glued at the time as they didn’t seem firm. 3 were re-glued during my appointment. I spent £68.Another has come off within 24 hours of posting this. I can only have my nails done rarely due to health and safety reasons for work. I had them done for my holiday and a special occasion whilst away. Within 8 days, I had lost all nails. All I was doing was lying on a sunbed. My nails didn’t even make my special occasion. Incredibly poor quality or certain staff need retraining. Very disappointing. Won’t be back 😡 additional info: I was texted by the owner who I thought was offering me a set of complimentary nails in good will due to my poor experience. I thought that was to try to re-build client relationship. They then posted on social media after I had communicated with them saying that I hadn’t got in contact. I had. They then said I could only get a complimentary set of nails if I removed my post from social media. Sorry, that was not the initial agreement. I am absolutely disgusted in that response. Your nails are of poor quality. Your disgraceful poor quality nails ruined my special occasion and I think it is very rude to ask me to remove an honest post which I legally am entitled to leave in place even if asked to remove. You are clearly trying to hide what a terrible nail salon you are. I will never recommend you, even my daughter goes elsewhere before I first came to your salon. Maybe u should have taken this into consideration? I will return to my previous salon who were amazing. I hope others will post honest reviews about business. Don’t even get me started on your hygiene. You ask clients to wash their hands on arrival but you do not appear to change or sterilise tools between clients and your toilet facilities are not adequate. You went to far when you blackmailed me to remove my post for a set of nails. I have not been offered a refund.

Got my nails done here a few weeks ago for my graduation. Overall very happy especially because I rarely get my nails done professionally! However, I am a bit of a perfectionist as I have long natural nails and I really take my time caring for them and manicuring them myself at home. I noticed after I got them done here that they were a little lumpy and wonky, with debris trapped under the top coat, and gel polish sticking to my cuticles, which has been bothering me. This is likely due to the fact that I felt really rushed by the staff here, and they seemed like they were in a rush to get customers in and out with their services quickly. Overall, they’re still holding up really well after a few weeks of wear, and they look great from a distance!
