This is my first time getting my nails done since moving out of my home country, and I absolutely love what Queen’s Nails was able to do with my nails! They captured the design inspo perfectly, the atmosphere was quaint, and everyone was very nice. They only take cash, which is not to worry as there’s a few ATMs nearby (Lloyd’s bank is a 3 minute walk away). I will be coming back for sure!

I’ve been going to this place for about a year now, mainly because it’s close to where I live. But honestly, I’ve never really been happy with the results. The service has always felt rushed and inconsistent, and I often feel like I’m not treated the same as other customers.

Whenever I ask for something simple like an extra top coat or cuticle removal I get attitude or feel like I’m being a bother. The responses are often dismissive, and at times I’ve even felt mocked through certain gestures or tones.

What really pushed me to finally write this review happened today. One of the staff members called me “Bye Kimchi” after getting my nails done. As a South Korean living in the UK, I found it extremely inappropriate and racially insensitive. I tried to brush off many small things over the past year, but this was something I couldn’t just ignore.

I usually avoid writing negative reviews, especially for Asian family-run businesses, but I believe it’s important to speak up when something feels wrong. I kept going back because of the location, but the overall service and treatment have never made me feel welcome or respected.
