My nails were looking really nice. No blemishes and a good length. I decided to treat myself to a gel manicure. The manicure itself looked really nice to start with. I was advised to return when the gel needed removing as using acetone would damage my nails. After one week the gel started peeling off my nails so I went back for removal sooner than I had hoped.
Oh my god. After she took the gel off my nails were a mess..she used a rotating mechanical file and it has done so much damage. It didn't look too bad immediately as she smothered my nails with oil. I have been treating them with nail oil since then but two months later my nails are breaking, flaked and a total mess. I know the damage will all grow out in about 6 months, but for one week of nice nails? Definitely a lesson learnt.
Edit. 6 months later. I'm still waiting for the last of the damage to grow out. My nails are still breaking and I'm having to keep them really short. Would change the star rating to zero if that was an option.

I have been here a couple of times now this year for a manicure and pedicure. Both times I have been really pleased with my nails and they have lasted a long time. Friendly and efficient service. Would highly recommend

These nails are the worst. I had to wait over 30 minutes for my appointment. It seemed like she was rushing. The acrylics are terrible, they are extremely thick and bumpy. Missing colour on the corners of my nails. It’s a mess. They are extremely uneven as well. It could have done with another coat. Managed to get it all over my fingers. My cuticle was cut. States no refund on policy but hides it behind her.

Von is very gentle and experienced nail technician. Makes you feel very relaxed. And loves to have a chat unlike some nail shops. Beautiful colours and wonderful nail art. I would really recommend it.
