Best beautician in Southsea by far. I've been going to Riva 6 regularly for 9 years and have had many of the treatments they provide.

Wax: It is by far the best place in Southsea for waxing - when I first moved to Portsmouth I tried lots of local places and had bad experiences at a lot of them but Katie at Riva 6 is excellent. I've been going every 4/5 weeks ever since.

Massage: I've had many massages here too, which are also excellent. My Mum insists this is the best place she's ever been for a massage - she was nervous to get massages after chemo but Katie was excellent with her.

Eyebrows: I've not had this treatment, but my Mum (who doesn't live in England) books to get her eyebrows done at Riva 6 whenever she visits me. She considers it better than all of the places she's tried in Glasgow.

I've also had my nails done here, had facials and had some spray tans. All were excellent quality, and all were reasonably priced. The salon is really well looked after and looks beautiful and Katie and Saskia are both lovely.

Very dissatisfied with the service. I had a voucher for £80 bought for my birthday which unfortunately expired after 6 months without me realising. When I asked if I could still redeem it at least partly (since it’s only a service and not actual goods) I was told NO - it’s hard to understand what would actually cost the ladies in the salon to still provide me with any service whatsoever after being paid the £80! It’s sad that the money spent by my friends for my gift has gone to waste because the manager couldn’t even propose any consolation! It would literally cost them nothing!

I visited Riva 6 for an aromatherapy massage (neck, shoulders and back) and really liked the techniques used. Katie was professional and very thorough. The salon is asthetically attractive and the treatment room reminded me of a boutique hotel. Soothing music and towels provided for one's dignity and comfort. The only disappointment was the loud chatter and giggling coming from the reception area whilst someone was having a manicure (not very relaxing), but i'm sure this can be resolved.
