They are clearly avoiding paying their taxes! Would not allow me to pay with cash and threatened me when I said I didn’t not have cash that I would have to leave something valuable there and go to the cash point or they would cut my nails off. Unfortunately I did not have my bank card on me as I use Apple Pay so eventually they begrudgingly accepted a bank transfer

The nail techs are quite lazy and will cut corners if you don’t watch them like a hawk or if you don’t know much about nails, which shouldn’t be the case. Would recommend you try somewhere that you can actually relax and know you will get a good service and professional looking nails!

This was my first time visiting this salon and definitely will not be returning. The prices charged here are way more expensive than London! This is coming from someone that lives in London and visits Peterborough often.

I was initially quoted £43 for my hands and £48 for my feet while they were being worked on, which is outrageous.
I had phoned them up beforehand and asked if they do walk ins or prefer appointments so they told me just to walk in. On the same phone call I’ve asked for rough prices for the above and they’ve put the phone down on me (this should have been my first red flag) and when I rang back, nobody was picking up the phone anymore.

Anyways, when I arrived, the salon was looking pretty but it was as COLD as in a morgue. The workers were wearing either jackets or body warmers. I needed to get my nails done and I was not trying to waste more time looking for somewhere else as I’m not from here.
When I spoke to the man that came to the front I specifically told them that I want a full set acrylic and a pedicure with big toe extensions to which he didn’t quite understand at first but then asked me what colour, which I confirmed with him. I was told to sit down in the waiting area.

I waited for about 5 minutes until I was asked to head over to the pedicure chair. The man I was dealing with at that moment was lovely and offered me a beverage which I accepted. Unfortunately, he had cut my toe while doing cuticle work but had pretended that nothing happened. I could clearly feel that I’ve got a wound, I have severe anxiety so I didn’t mention anything. Anyways, he completed the pumice stone work, cuticle work, nail filing and buffing and done the exfoliator. Then it was time to paint my nails to which I reminded him that I want a big toe extensions. He went to speak to his colleague and within 5 min I was told to put my shoes on and go to the manicure table.

Upon getting to the other table, my treatment was continued by another worker. I was told to take my shoes off. I was sat at that manicure table, with my bare feet in that cold salon for nearly TWO hours!! Considering a pedicure should be relaxing I was straining my legs lifting them up and down to the man’s knees in order for him to work on them. I am a 5ft10 woman, not the easiest to do that!

Before he started my acrylics I told him and even showed him what I wanted. Simple almond shape with white tips, medium length. I WAS SO SEVERELY APPALLED that they do not at least cut off excess cuticle? Like I’m not asking for a full manicure but trimming cuticles should be included in the set. In London not only it cost me £35-40 max for the exact same design but also twice as long as the ones I’ve got and they always do cuticle trimming as it impacts the overall finished look. So now my cuticles are fused with a bit of acrylic and my nails look uneven where the nail and the cuticle meet. When he had completed my hand nails and moved back to working on my toes, I’ve realised that the white tip he had painted on was severely wonky, uneven and also patchy.

Once he finished working on my toes I’ve mentioned it to him and showed him how wonky it was and he looked like I’m confused. However he proceeded to “fix it”. He managed to fix them slightly but still not what I would expect for £43 but I just had no will to sit in that cold salon as I couldn’t feel my feet anymore so I just accepted what it was. He also asked me see if my toes are okay which I briefly looked at and said yes to as I just wanted to get out of there as it was as cold inside as it was outside.

Of course my pedicure was incomplete, I had not received moisturiser or massage on my feet and I was very uncomfortable at the manicure table. Moisturiser and massage are a staple in a pedicure, if I knew this would have happened I’d just ask for toenails painted at the manicure table without getting half a pedi tire but paying for one and receiving a cut to my toe!

Not worth the money and i will definitely not go back. Also, No price list anywhere in the salon.

I never leave bad reviews, i just walk away but today my experience was appalling.
I don't know why i have come here 3 times. No care displayed at all. JD just want a quick money. Last time I came i asked for a protein base and gel colour which I was supposedly given. Today I asked for the same was told they never had it. So I paid for a fake service w weeks ago.

Ended up doing a removal, hurriedly and almost sent away without filing or triming of cuticles. Had to ask fo a nail file which was done without care nor was any cuticle oil applied. They sounded irritated by my request and couldn't wait to start on a new customer.

I honestly went there cause it was convenient. Clearly I have to go out of my way for better service.

Dirty salon,equipment is dirty unorganised mess and one staff working between 2 clients ewwww no thank you pedicure sinks was not cleaned avoid this place coming from a high observer. Flies very concerning.
