I specifically travel to this salon to have my nails done by the two ladies there, so I was really disappointed with my recent experience. This is a walk-in and when I asked for a pedicure, the lady I usually go to first took me in started with me and then another customer walked in who was a regular so she passed me on to another I’m guessing new staff.(as he clearly had no clue what he was doing)
Unfortunately, the service I received was very poor. All he did was cut my nails and briefly scrub my feet, there was no proper cuticle work, shaping, or overall nail care. I even had to ask for acetone to clear my nails around the polish which I did myself as if was so poorly done.

When I politely raised my concerns with the owner, some of the staff appeared to laugh amongst themselves, which felt quite disrespectful, especially as they assumed I wouldn’t understand them. To be fair, the owner was polite, acknowledged the issue, and offered to redo the pedicure, but by that point I declined as I felt my time had already been wasted.

This isn’t the first time something like this has happened. On a previous visit, I was also passed over to someone else during my manicure, and the owner had to step in to fix the poor work.

In my honest opinion, unless you are a regular customer, you may not receive the same level of care. I had no issue paying £30 for the pedicure—I simply expected it to be done .

Got my nails done today and it was extremely bad service. The staff was careless and got few cuts, this wasn’t the first time though. I wish I got his name.
Language is a big communication barrier.

People need to avoid this nail salon. I visited this nail salon a few weeks ago to get my nails removed, and they used the machine only to remove the fake nails instead of soaking my nails in nail polish remover. This has damaged my nails completely. They don’t know how to use the machine, and they shouldn’t be allowed to do people's nails. They are not fully trained.

Visited Amy Star Nails' for a manicure and Pedicure and loved it. The visible effort during the pedicure was remarkable. The attendant took a lot of time and did it thoroughly and I left a happy customer. Definitely going back!

the person doing my nails was very rough and made the part under my nail bleed. I showed them my inspiration picture and the result ended up looking COMPLETELY different ! Horrible experience..

I’ve been here a few times but today had a bad experience where the nail technician was really rough and made me bleed a few times. Due to his roughness, my nails are now extremely sensitive. He didn’t even give me a proper manicure. Do not go to that man. I wish I got his name.

First time after so many years I am disappointed of my nails.
The man didn't do it for quality his just did it for time, his heart me so many times I even scered to renew my nails because they are so sensitive , please guys some of you really good but some just damage your business, sorry but I will never come back to you.

One of the maie staff was so rude especially to my daughter who is as young as 18 years old. They hurt your nails do their OWN design rather than the one you payed for and they don't even apologise.

I am definitely NOT going back to that place and definitely do NOT recommend.

They have a nice selection of colours. The acrylic nails last between 2 to 3 weeks.
They don't remove cuticles at all, and when they do it, they hurt you, even making you bleed and don't apologise.
The staff are rude and have no customer service skills.
Going back again there? NOPE
