The service was appalling, the skill was lacking and the professionalism was non-existent. My nails chipped within three days. Don’t bother booking an appointment as you’ll have to wait 30 minutes only to be told your appointment is later to make you feel foolish. Even with an appointment, three people worked on my nails. I was persuaded to have my nails soaked off and a fresh set after two infill sets because their previous job was poorly done and four nails broke. I chose the pink and white gel from the tester nails. When she started, I mentioned it looked darker than I’d chosen but was worried about my car parking time running out because they’d started me later. This led me to rush and say okay, go ahead. I quickly transferred £50 via online banking, worried about my car.

Halfway through, I rushed to move my car and exclaimed I absolutely hated it and it didn’t look like the colour I’d chosen. They didn’t care and she screamed at me in front of customers, refusing to do anything. After arguing, I finally got them to soak off my nails again. They agreed to a £40 refund but still charged me £10! Left with weakened split nails from lack of care and 3 wasted hours. Never again. There are plenty of other nail salons, their loss!

Also don’t be fooled by the nice decor, I fell for this and gave them a second chance with someone new after the first attempt.

Ok, and this is why you have such terrible reviews and a disgusting manor. Half of what you said is false and makes no sense.
As I stated yes this was my second time with you as the first time you did them they chipped after 3 days.
I didn’t change my mind at all, in fact I was very decisive and chose a pink and white nail colour which you incorrectly applied a completely different shade of pink which was about 5 shades darker.
I was definitely not advised to have acrylic instead of pink and white. I was more than happy choosing p&w that was never the issue. That is a complete lie. And lastly I had 3 different people doing my nails, so communication is down to your staff not me. Don’t lie about booked in appointment times because you’d rather cram in some walk-ins.
…Keep showing your true colours, as I said your loss not mine. I hope people aren’t fooled by the pretty decor inside. Their attitude stinks.

Hi there ! We are not expecting this from you since you had left the salon with the refund back to you after you are the one keep changing your mind about the service. We appreciate that you was in our salon for up to 2 HOURS not 3 Hours but its not only wasting your time only . It’s our time and our service had done to you too. This review had made us few too generous now to give you back almost your money as we understand you something else to do . £10 charge was not even enough for 2 times we had to take off all your nails to be redo again .
First of all, you was late 15’ for your appointment so you had to wait a bit to be fitting in again
Secondly , you had you nails done elsewhere then came to us last time for an infill . This time is the second time and we saw your powder condition to advice you to have them all soak off . Otherwise, we can’t guarantee that your fill will last long. You AGREED to have a new set
Technician who done her work on your nails did recommend to you that you should have natural acrylic powder instead of color powder. Because with color powder once it done you cant change. Your choice was color powder

It’s only take you less than 5’ to know that you don’t like the color . The technician did check with you carefully about it , you let her to done more than 1 hands all the powder pink & white then went to move your car then come back saying you don’t like it . You CANT keep blaming on the ticket timing make you not concentrate. That’s the most funny reason ever but well , we talked to you ,tried to understand your point of view .You DECIDED to have just regular powder and shellac on top again .
Fine !!!we agreed as mainly , we don’t want to waste the time anymore as you don’t really know what you like in the end of the day . we took them off all again for you . But you again decided to leave and want apart of the money back . Only £10 for every thing as we thought you had baby as you said that also why you had to leave too .
We felt so weak and soft after this , this is a big lesson to us that sometimes customers can’t always be right !

Used this salon today due to my normal salon fully booked. First and last visit to Sixteen. Possibly the rudest member of staff did my nails, she rushed, was rude, and very rough doing my nails.
Definitely would not recommend this nail salon

I have started coming here after a bad experience at a nail bar near my home. The staff are really friendly and they make you feel very welcome. Here are some pictures of the stunning cat’s eye nail designs they have done for me. I look forward to returning to this in the future.
