I am extremely disappointed by the lack of accountability I’ve experienced after politely requesting a refund due to my nails being smudged.

Both the stylist and I tested the nails before I left to ensure they were dry, and I was under the dryer for an extended period. Despite this, the nail polish is already peeling. This is unacceptable.

I have emailed you regarding this issue and have received no proper response. I have been a loyal customer with no previous problems until now.

I am fully aware that nails can smudge, but they should not have after being under the dryer for so long. That is why I requested a refund, yet the conversation keeps being deflected to your receptionist. This is disrespectful and ignorant.

Regarding your receptionist: please review your CCTV footage. You will see that I approached the desk before leaving. Your receptionist said nothing and did not even acknowledge me. Only Fatima said goodbye. Her behavior was unprofessional and, frankly, intimidating.

Your front-of-house staff’s behavior is visible to all customers and reflects poorly on your business.

Shame on you for handling this matter so poorly.

We appreciate your feedback and take customer concern very seriously. Following your review, we conducted a thorough investigation, involving discussions with the staff on shift today during your visit and a review of the CCTV footage.

Our team recalls that you were warmly greeted upon arrival, and our receptionist kindly suggested prioritising your waxing before your nails. Throughout your procedure, you seemed content and showed no sign of dissatisfaction.

It was noted you opted and prepaid for regular polish on both your hands and feet. You did dry under the fan allowing the polish to dry as much as possible. However reviewing CCTV you decided to put on your converse which may have contributed to smudging.

We value open communication and are here to address any concerns but we believe it’s crucial to maintain a level of respect. And the comment towards our receptionist is extremely disrespectful and rude!

Our team made attempts to contact you for further details after the review you have written here on Treatwell as well as google. As well as replying to your email about a refund you requested due to smudged nails.

You did not address the situation for us to understand why you were unsatisfied!

Threatening us with these kind of reviews and sending us an email that you will raise a dispute with your bank to get a refund, won’t make management refund you with no valid reason. Especially after investigation and seeing there was no problem at all during your visit.
