I have been coming to jenna for the past few months and I am so in love with my nails every time, the customer service is always on point too!! The shape and colour is always perfect. Don't go if you care about your natural nails.

I don’t understand how this place has such a high rating. I have never had my nails done professionally; I have natural, quite thin nails. However, I did my research and decided to give it a try because it was so highly reviewed, the prices were much lower than other places, and the work they showcased on Instagram looked good. Also, their social media person is fantastic, very kind and helpful when I had questions.

I booked my first BIAB session online, showed up, but it turned out they had forgotten my booking. I asked them to be gentle, but the male technician just nodded, and went in with the roughest file. Everything was done extremely quickly, which I don’t mind, but the shapes were a bit uneven and the thickness on top varied. I didn’t get a good feeling about the cleanliness of the tools, everything was very dusty. I soon realised there was a huge language barrier, and I became worried they didn’t understand me at all when I warned them about my nails. To make things worse, it turned out I received the wrong service, not the BIAB I intentionally booked, which is supposed to be better for maintaining healthier nails. I hadn’t realised this due to my lack of experience with the process. I was still charged properly.

But I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt because of their high rating and supposed online reputation. In the meantime, I received a discount for my next visit via Instagram, with a note to show the message in the shop to claim it. The second time, I booked the appointment online again. I arrived a little earlier to allow a few minutes to choose the colour. The salon was empty, with only three staff members. Again, I got the same male technician who immediately took his place, turned on the electric file (which I later learned is not always necessary for removal), and motioned for my hand while I was still taking my bag off and sitting down. I felt extremely rushed, trying to look through the colour samples with one free hand. The result was acceptable, but when I showed him the message with the discount, he simply kept saying “no” and couldn’t answer questions like why, who sent me the message, or whether he could check with the person who gave me the discount. He just couldn’t converse, and the other technicians were on their phones, uninterested in helping. In the end, he called the person, and I finally received the discount. After two weeks, I started experiencing sharp pain whenever I tapped my fingers or pressed on something. I had them removed at a different place, where I witnessed a salon station being sanitised and filing handled much more gently, and realised they had been bruised and severely damaged from the rough filing. Over the following weeks, my nails began to become misshapen, and now they’re detaching from the nail bed, getting worse every day. I’m unsure whether it’s fungal or caused by aggressive filing, but I’m certain it’s due to this place. Gutted!

the owner, and the other two staff members who were there were all so kind and friendly, my nails turned out exactly as i wanted. the salon was clean and very aesthetic, i will definitely be back again!!! 12/10 recommend :))
