The first time I know about Abby Nails shop is because the original nail shop I used to attend close at 7pm and Abby Nails was open.
This is now my second time coming to get my nails done and they always do a great job.

Today I walked in to Abby Nails in Leyton to do my nails and they was very professional and the details in doing my nails was great.

They are good at designs, getting the shape right and were friendly. However, when I walked into the shop I was shocked by how cluttered and unsanitary the place was. The space is also very outdated and good to do with some TLC! At one point, the nail tech used a cuticle remover that hadn’t been sanitised and even cut my cuticles. I asked for an antiseptic and was given some after a while. I also experienced some l chipping after a couple of days. On this basis, I don’t think I will return.

I really like my nails however I think the shop is a little dirty and cluttered. It would be nice to see the shop given a deep clean so that the aesthetic can match the talent of the ladies in the shop.

The first few times I came here were fine, with my only issues being how long the service took in comparison to other salons and their use of controversial prep methods. Unfortunately, these two reasons are why I will now never come back again.
On the website, a biab infill with gel on top is listed as taking 1hr15. This appointment took approximately 1hr40, with the first 1hr10 consisting of the tech buffing my nail beds and trimming my cuticles so roughly that I was raw and bleeding. She could see how bad it looked and kept apologising, but continued to use unsanitary brushes on my cuts that were definitely not being cleaned between the next customer. I pointed out how sore it looked and asked if that much prep was really necessary and was simply told “Yes.”
Despite them knowing they had done a poor job and I was in pain, I still had to pay full price and as we were running nearly 30 mins over I couldn’t stay to dispute it. My cuticles are still hurting days later, I will not be coming back.

Been here a couple of time and I did like the shape of my nails but however they really do need to invest in better gel polish. Literally the next day it starts bubbling and peels off. I even went back to get them fixed waste of time and because of that I won’t be coming back.

I've had my nails done on 4 different continents and I can say without doubt that Abby and her team are the best nail techs I've ever found. Their art is insanely good and it lasts weeks or until I get a creative urge to recreate some complex masterpiece from vogue / refinery29 and change them. Support Abby, she's a small business owner AND an artiste 💅🏻
