Avoid!… Been going here for a while, however recently the quality of work has gone downhill. Exactly 1 week after getting shellac on my nails, they had already started to peel off across multiple nails. Quality of application was poor. I will not be going back.
I've been going there for years manicure 💅 and pedicure price still really good definitely worth a visit
I used to absolutely love this nail shop. My nails were always perfect and would last 4 weeks or more without any issues, which is why I kept coming back.
Unfortunately, over the last two months the quality has dropped massively. My nails have been peeling, breaking, and lifting from day one, which never used to happen. I haven’t changed anything on my end, so this clearly points to a decline in application or products.
It’s really disappointing to see such a big drop in standards from a place that used to be so reliable. I hope this is addressed, because the recent work has been nowhere near the level it used to be.
Alona my nail tech is absolutely brilliant. She’s very precise and thorough. Very polite. Her nail tech is perfect. I would definitely recommend Alona to anyone. She’s perfect.
I feel the salon owner does need to update the colours and introduce new colours. Also the nail technicians need to be allowed a little more time than 30 mins, sometimes it feels like a rush job.
Although Alona does a perfect job every time.
But the customer service skills by the management need to be a bit more polite and professional.
Been to this salon many times and I have found their technicians to be very professional. Today I must have got a new/inexperienced technician..my nails were filed very pointy (I had asked for round like I usually do) - I however let that go even though I was very disappointed as my already small nail beds were filed even smaller. She then went onto paint my nails and the finished nails were lumpy and blotchy. When I raised I was not happy, the man at reception said I can wait later this afternoon to get it fixed. No apology, no understanding - he was just very rude and unhelpful given my nails were done so poorly by one of his staff. The technician at the other desk said 'we can put some glitter on' which was even more ridiculous.
I eventually got them redone by someone else (this time to the standard I always get!). I was then expected to pay the full price. I refused as 1) My original appt was at 1pm, I waited until 2pm to get my nails redone and wasn't finished until 2.30pm and 2) My first shellac was not to the standard it should have been. I said I am happy to pay half and he then played the guilt trip saying his staff are self employed and the technician won't get paid if you don't pay. I went on to say how you manage your staff salaries is up to you - I did not get the service I should have done and therefore will not be paying the full price. Shocking customer service!
I have been making my nails here for a long time. The girls doing the job quickly and it’s really great quality. Well done!!!
Full pedicure rushed so they can sit in the back. Nails not prepped and then blamed that nail Polish won't apply properly. End result messy Nails.
Do not bother if you have ANYTHING previous on your nails. I tried to book and couldn’t because they said that their phone was stolen (fair enough) but arrived, the woman who sat down started with an attitude and then took 1 look at my nails, tutting and sighing and called over the manager and another colleague. They said it couldn’t be removed without a drill? I am not a nails expert but havent needed that before for shellac and the manager was fine but I apologised for wasting their time. Really, I was so embarrassed that I left quickly because this woman had such a rude demeanour, she was trying to embarrass me and the way she handled my hands was as if I was dirty. I went to another nail shop who only had to soak them off with foils so I don’t understand why Eniko keeps saying they don’t use drills. I’m not bothering again, I was recommended this place by a friend who said don’t judge the exterior of the shop… they only do regular nail varnish and shellac but couldn’t remove my shellac? Don’t waste your time
The positives: easy booking system via WhatsApp, affordable, quick, and mostly good quality shellac
The negatives: so rude! The girls have never been the friendliest but recently they are so so so rude. So much so that I don’t think I will be in a rush to go back there unless absolutely necessary. Would rather pay more for a more pleasant experience. I have wondered why are they are miserable and rude in there? There must be a reason!
Have been a few times. The girl today was so heavy handed when rubbing off old gel that I actually y
