I paid £40 expecting a professional and hygienic service, but I left extremely disappointed. The same gloves appeared to be used on multiple customers, I did not see any sterilisation of tools between clients, and the sinks were left dirty from previous customers. Basic hygiene standards seemed to be completely ignored.
To make matters worse, I was charged £40 for what was essentially just painting my toenails rather than a proper pedicure. Looking back, I'm almost relieved they didn't do more treatment because I am genuinely concerned about the risk of infections being spread through unsterilised equipment. Hygiene should never be compromised in a nail salon. I would not return and would not recommend this salon.

Not very professional. Had my manicure done by a young man. He was friendly but inexperienced.. the nail colour painting was messy and he used his nails to scrape it off my fingers which was painful. Will not be returning.

Wouldn’t recommend just went now. They moisturised your hands with the residue and expect to not wash your hand

Eh. Just inconsistent. First time I went, my nails were very nice, second time, rubbish. SO Thick and had bubbles in the top coat. I believe the lad who put my top coat on was new, which is no problem, but charging full price for someone new isn’t correct. Had to go somewhere else and get them redone.

Dirty place, poor hygiene. Nails and dead skin remains everywhere on the table. Doubt if the tools were being sanitised at all. Staff is lazy, 0 communication during my manicure. I asked for round shaped nails and ended up with inconsistent shapes, some of my nails are square (ish) and the rest are round (ish).
Avoid at all cost.

Booked via classpass and did my nails a while ago. I booked a Luxe Pedicure service, noting luxurious about it. Nail service was bad, barely any cuticle treatment, on the varnish side I feel like even I could have done a better job. Place was dirty in general and no cleanliness. The result? My nails got infected and one of them is almost falling out. I talked to class pass and they said there’s nothing they can do about it, but I’m hoping Galaxy Nails themselves are able to AT LEAST provide me with a compensation because this is unacceptable. I’ll come back with updates if I have a response.
