The standard has dropped significantly since I started coming here a couple of years ago. They seem to be hiring just about anybody now with bad attitudes, rude and argumentative. A recent hire, a guy with a grey patch at the right side of the back of his head, is the worst by far - terrible work, terrible attitude, he even went to cut my nails off because I didn’t like the nails and stopped him part way. He had a picture for reference and said don’t worry I’m doing it better (basically freestyling my nails when I’ve asked for something specific). After he stormed off, I was seen by someone else and just settled for a plain set. He came back to me and said, “happy now? Now you don’t need to come back to me, I have my own customers.” The fact that he came back to find me to argue with me some more is abysmal. Don’t rely on good google reviews, they like to deter you from leaving bad ones and direct you to IG where you’ll be ignored. You’ll be better off finding a better nail shop where they actually speak to you like a human being.

Unfortunately the nail art was not good and they still charged me £12 extra, even though I had to have it covered up, the shape was also not what I asked for. Round the edges isn’t super neat, and they get mad when you ask to neaten it up. Not sure if they were rushing but it’s not the service they used to give. It’s a lot of money to not come away happy / rushing, will need to find a new place in CJ if there’s any recommendations 💔

Good quality of work and reasonable prices. I always come to this salon as it's convenient for me. Unlike other salons I have been to in the past, the people here are always very welcoming try to build a rapport with the clients. I have been today and Lily was super professional and helped me find the colour I was looking for!

I walked in and immediately felt like I wasn’t welcome. I asked about getting my nails done and was just met with silence and a kind of dismissive hum. The whole place felt really unwelcoming from the start.

During the appointment, the attitude didn’t improve. The person doing my nails seemed annoyed the entire time, which made the experience really uncomfortable. He even forgot to put a top coat on my nails, and I was honestly scared to ask as he seemed annoyed at me.

It’s a shame because this is my closest nail shop, but I definitely won’t be coming back after this. I came here a couple of years ago and remember a really nice man, maybe he wasn’t working that day or doesn’t work there anymore, but this visit was completely different and extremely disappointing.
